adventure and thrilling mysteries of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's introduce a new hero, Yusei, and a whole new kind of card – the
powerful Synchro Monster.
Start your own Synchro Monster collection with the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Starter Deck. It is a full 40 card deck with many of
Yusei's cards from the start of the television series. In addition to that, you get 3 Super or Ultra Rare Synchro Monster
Cards. You can only get these cards in the Starter Deck so don't miss out!
SYNCHRO MONSTERS
White Synchro Monster Cards are a powerful new kind of monster! Synchro Monsters go in your Extra Deck (previously called
the Fusion Deck) – they do not go in your Main Deck.
In order to Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster, you need 1 Tuner monster (look for “Tuner” next to its Type). The Tuner
Monster and other face-up monsters you use for the Synchro Summon are called Synchro Material Monsters. The sum of their
Levels is the Level of Synchro Monster you can Summon.
To Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster:
- Have a Tuner monster and 1 or more non-Tuner monsters face-up on the field.
- Make sure the Levels of the monsters you want to use add up exactly to the Level of the Synchro Monster you want
to Summon. (You don't have to use all your monsters)
- Send the Tuner and the other monsters you are using to your Graveyard.
- Special Summon the Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck!
