Just because you are not qualified for the World Championship, does not mean you shouldn’t make plans to visit Austin. Here is a quick list of highlights for the weekend:
World of Warcraft Miniatures World Championship is open to all players. Players can enter in Day 1 and try their dice at progressing to Day 2. All players participating will also be eligible for door prizes throughout Day 1. Prizes available include DC Direct WoW Figures and Loot cards.
The Upper Deck League is back! Players will be able to take some time out of their fiercely competitively matches to play some casual games and have a chance to get previously unreleased Extended Art Promos, T-shirts, playmats, all the way up to an iPod Touch.
The Darkmoon Faire is setting up shop in Austin, Texas the same weekend as the World Championships. Electronics, travel vouchers, Spectral Tiger Loot cards, and gift cards are just some of the prizes available to top finishers. A new format is awaiting players that participate.
This is just of the tip of the iceberg. The Public Events schedule is chocked full of events that give away Uncut Sheets, a full case of Spoils of War boosters, boxes of Fires of Outland and many more!
