The WoW TCG United States National Championships will take place August 16–19 at Gen Con Indy!

All players qualified for U.S. Nationals will receive a free Gen Con Indy badge that allows them to enter the exhibit hall and play in any UDE tournaments. 


 


How do I qualify to play in a National Championship?

 

  1. Be one of the top 4 previously unqualified players at a WoW TCG Regional Qualifier tournament.
  2. Be one of the top 8 previously unqualified players at a Dream Machine Championship, held at each stop of the Darkmoon Faire.
  3. Qualify based on WoW TCG Honor Ranking. Players earn ranking points by playing in sanctioned tournaments. Qualified players can find their name by following the link below.
  4. Qualify based on UDE rating. Players earn rating points by playing in sanctioned tournaments. Qualified players can find their name by following the link below. Check your rating here.

 

 

August 16: Last Chance Qualifier tournaments. Open enrollment.

 

August 17: National Championship Day 1—Constructed (Heroes of Azeroth [HOA], Onyxia’s Lair treasure pack, Through the Dark Portal [TDP], Molten Core treasure pack).

 

The number of rounds will be determined by the number of players participating. The cut will be made based on record.

 

August 18: National Championship Day 2—Draft (two packs HOA, two packs TDP). Players making the Day 2 cut will compete in two drafts.

 

August 19: National Championship Day 3—Constructed playoffs. Top 8 players compete for prizes.

 

 

1st Place: Flight to WoW World Championship 2007; totally tricked-out laptop (estimated value $6500); Extended Art prize promo card; Onyxia’s Lair and Molten Core treasure packs; invitation to WoW TCG World Championship 2007.

 

2nd Place: Flight to WoW World Championship 2007; gaming laptop (estimated value $3000); Extended Art prize promo card; Onyxia’s Lair and Molten Core treasure packs; invitation to WoW TCG World Championship 2007.

 

3rd and 4th Place: 30” computer monitor; NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500 video card (or an equivalent powerful card); Extended Art prize promo card; Onyxia’s Lair and Molten Core treasure packs; invitation to WoW TCG World Championship 2007.

 

5th-8th Place: Players’ choice of either an Xbox 360 or a 20” widescreen computer monitor; 80G iPod Video; Extended Art prize promo card; Onyxia’s Lair and Molten Core treasure packs; invitation to WoW TCG World Championship 2007.

 

9th-50th Place: Extended Art prize promo card; Onyxia’s Lair and Molten Core treasure packs; invitation to WoW TCG World Championship 2007.

Participation Prizes: All Nationals competitors will recieve Extended Art versions of Breanna Greenmother and Tempest, Son-of-Storms!
