Two new features have been added to Darkmoon Faire: Austin :
  •  Darkmoon Faire Quest for Glory. Form a party and quest around downtown Austin , taking your picture in front of landmarks in the city. If you complete your quest, everyone in your party will receive a WoW TCG playmat with art by Gabe of Penny Arcade, and an Extended Art Lt. Commander Dudefella. The group with the best set of pictures will receive Onyxia Hide Backpacks and invitations to the WoW TCG Invitational. Click here to view the quest list!
 

•  Exclusive LAN! Attendees will be able to compete on a private WoW MMO PvP server, using level 70 characters equipped with the best gear. Small entry fees will be charged, with all proceeds going to the Child's Play Foundation.


Everyone knows that the Darkmoon Faire stops in the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, but did you ever wonder where they go for the other three weeks of every month? Upper Deck Entertainment's Darkmoon Faire will begin its real-world tour in Austin , Texas on April 27th . Scroll below check out everything that awaits those heroes who make their way to the city renowned for its live music and nightlife.


The Darkmoon Faire TM itself will host World of Warcraft ® TCG tournaments for all levels, with prizes including iPods, Xbox 360s, and high-end gaming computers! Haven't tried the WoW ® TCG yet? No problem! Events will be available for all levels of players, with prizes for all. In addition to all the WoW TCG fun, you can come and check out the World of Warcraft merchandise vendors or relax with your friends from the real world and the online world in our lounge. After spending your days immersed in WoW MMO and TCG activities, hit the town and see what gave Austin its reputation as a destination city for music lovers and party-goers!





Darkmoon Faire isn’t just a TCG tournament, but an event. Each stop during the year is a celebration of all things WoW, giving MMO and TCG players a place to hang out, play, compete, and meet up with friends, guildmates and friends from across the country.

At Darkmoon Faire Austin, players can enjoy the following features:

Player Lounge. Catch up with friends in the lounge area, while relaxing on the sofas and enjoying frosty beverages.

LAN Gaming. Need to get your MMO fix between rounds of playing the TCG? Hop onto the LAN network!

Quest Austin. During the event, everyone will be able to participate in a Quest, exploring the city of Austin! Fulfill your quest and return, and you will receive a reward!

Vendors. What would a Darkmoon Faire event be without some fun and mysticism? Attendees will be able to get Henna tattoos, consult a fortune teller (to see if Your Fortune Awaits You), purchase jewelry, try their luck at carnival games, buy TCG goods, and much more.

Attendees of the Darkmoon Faire are expected to behave in a mature, professional, and sporting manner at all times before, during, and after the event.

• Participants in the Darkmoon Faire are expected to dress in an appropriate and professional manner.
