Welcome to the Upper Deck League, where you can play games at your pace and win prizes at the same time.  Have some time between games during the Darkmoon Faire? Play a league game or two. Then grab your Prize Sleeves and make it back in time for your next round. You can play three different formats for each game.  As soon as two players sign up, the fun can begin!

The entry fee for the UD League at the 2009 Las Vegas Darkmoon Faire is $5.  This is a one time fee for the entire weekend.  For your $5 you will receive an exclusive UD League badge and a UD League playmat, featuring the art of the upcoming Scourgewar Loot card Spectral Kitten.

Another addition to the UD League is the different prizes being given away.  See the prize section below for those details. Here are the formats available during this event –

World of Warcraft TCG

Constructed – Follows Constructed deckbuilding rules that are laid out in the policy document.

2-pack – Players are handed two random booster packs (or they bring their own) and they play a game using just those two packs.  Each player opens their packs face down, they take out any heroes, crafting and/or loot. They shuffle up and then that becomes their deck.  They are allowed to play any cards that they receive in those packs. The hero is a 30 health hero with no class, spec, or flip power. Players are free to keep the cards after the game is over

Players can sign up four players at a time to participate in a Raid of their choosing. The league desk will provide the Raid deck to them.  For the Constructed and Block Constructed formats, players may use the alternate Warsong Gulch rules to determine a winner if both players agree to this before the game starts. The Warsong Gulch flags are available for use at the league desk.

World of Warcraft Minis

Constructed – Follows Constructed deckbuilding rules as stated in the official Tournament Policy Document.

Arena Constructed – Follows Constructed deckbuilding rules with the exception that there is a three-figure maximum, 18 honor, and Legendary characters are not permitted.

2-mini – Both you and your opponent are handed two random figures (and accompanying Action Bar and Character cards) and that becomes your party to play with, plus the minis are yours to keep! Players can being an unopened booster and use two minis of their choice from that booster instead.

Players can play with Fleet Master Seahorn if both players agree to play with those rules. Players can choose what map they want to play on.  If neither player has a map, they can get one from the league desk.
