This is for players in the orange county area that want to start participating in orginized play. I am in an area with about 4 well known card stores but can never seem to get anything but casual play going wherever i go.  So i would like to put it out there for everyone in the orange county and surrounding areas, to get together and play the game.

The best way i think we can do this is by statrting a league, and every week we have a calendar of events, pick a card store and have orginized play at those card stores, i have spoken to the owners of a couple of them and they are willing to host and provide prizes if i can get some peeps together.  So if you live in the area reply to this post, send me your email, or give me some other way to contact you, we'll set up an yahoo group get everyone's availability together and start having some fun.

id kinda be looking at this as a kind of outside league away from actually just going to a store every week and playing. it would be player orginized and driven and a place to hone your decks and skills.  if your interested in hosting that would be great but so far i have 6 players who want to start doing this.  Anyways /bump, i know that there are more players in So-Cal who would be interested, hit me up or just drop in a reply!

The only place for me to play nearby and that I enjoy the most from the environment is DearMrFantazy.  Shuffle and Cut Games is way out of my way.  The other place would be 3J's but I have my personal reasons for not ever going there.

I have been playtesting at DMF for the past two weeks with some good players.  Trade, Casual, or playtesting, I will always be there from Sunday, Friday, and Saturdays.

I'm interested in casual play as well. I'm not too confident in tourneys mainly cause I don't feel I have a solid grasp on the game. I definitely need people to play with to test out new strats and glean new ones from others.

well i went to dear mr. fanatazy, and out of all the card stores ive been to in the past 2 months they are my favorite.  they always have card players in there, the owner is great and is always down to play, not to mention he offers extremely fair prices.  so this is going to be my new home away from home from now on.  damn my girlfriend is going to be pissed.

That's great that you're gonna be around more often!  Tonight is Lazy Peon Night.  But it will most likely be Onyxia Strats.  I will be there tonight but a little after 7.

Yo, SoCal player here. I don't drive (Even though I should =/ ) So DMF is a bit far for me ><; I'm on the border of Buena Park and Cerritos, on Valleyview and Orangethorpe. So gthompson, if you wanted to host some casuals and even low cost tournies, I'm totally up for it if you can host them closer than DMF =]
