UK Onyxia Raiding Event Weekend: 9th and 10th December 2006

    Hi,

Here are the list of locations that are taking part in the Onyxia Raiding Event that is happening in the UK and Ireland.

Players need to be in teams of four and bring three constructed hero decks and an Onyxia deck. Teams are paired off against each other swiss style with each Onyxia player taking on the opposing team's heroes. For a team to win their match, they must inflict more damage upon Onyxia than the opposing heroes.

Please help your organiser by pre-registering your teams for the event. Most events will do well if at least four teams (16 players) show up and play!

As Ray says, pre-registering really helps. UDE have kindly offered to put up prize support based on pre-registered attendance so gettig in contact with the TOs (including me for the Worcester event) is good for both them and the players!

Re: UK Onyxia Raiding Event Weekend: 9th and 10th December 2006

I'd just like to point out to everyone who might be coming to ones of these events that Onyxia treasure cards CANNOT be used at these events.

There's been a bit of confusion with regards to this (first email from UDE said they could be used), but these cards aren't legal until December 13th.

Bumping this as it's a good source of locations to play WoW in the UK.

Sadly our Ony event was short manned with a couple of people begging off at the last minute. :(

Still, Ony was challenged (and defeated once) and everyone seemed to have a good time.

Re: UK Onyxia Raiding Event Weekend: 9th and 10th December 2006

*Bump as good for UK Locations...*

Poole Raid event was fun. two teams went up against the Onyxia, both ending up feeding the beast rather then slaying it...

One team did score a good 59% Damage (Good as the team had not really worked together before!) The other scored 29 Damage against the Dragon.

But all players seemed to have fun and will be running this again, with some more prizes, early next year....

Re: UK Onyxia Raiding Event Weekend: 9th and 10th December 2006

The Middlesbrough event was a big success, had 8 teams turn up in the end and one of them even managed to beat Onyxia.

Hopefully going to be running future monthly events starting in Jan.
