    Re: Souls of Vengeance Release

That is all well and good, but it is VERY vague. Is it being released in January 2010 or December 2010?  I think they stuck that there to try and spark hope in the players, but it may be too late.

Well, it should shut the people up who keep saying the game is dead.

Very good sign.  I'm glad to know that I made the right choice to keep my minis. :-)

    Re: Souls of Vengeance Release

    I don't understand.
The world is in crisis and people complain because they can't spend money right now on miniatures.
I have no problem to wait a few months more, let's say until February, to buy the new minis.
Right now, I'm very busy opening Scourge wars packs. 8-)

The only thing I win is honor...

    Re: Souls of Vengeance Release

We've known it's been 2010 for some time now. The big question is when in 2010.

My bet is sometime first quarter, but I am hoping for asap. It's been TOO Long to watch MonsterPocalypse go through 4 sets while we're at 2.

You must not have seen a game die before.

They keep releasing product all the way to the end.  In fact the last thing that typically happens is a set is released and then they close the doors.  With preorders and R+D work and distrubution channels already laid its more cost effective to shove dead product out the door then it is to just drop it.  This is usually preceeded by a complete lack of communication from anybody representative of the producing company, indicating that they've moved all staff personel off the project ( or just flat out fired them ).

I'm not saying thats what happened here as I will let you draw your own conclusions, but I am saying that a new set coming out is not an indicator of a collectible games continued longevity.

This is true.  If you really feel the game is dead then there really isn't a reason for you to post on here anymore....soooo kthxbye

    Re: Souls of Vengeance Release

You all should start facing facts. Unless they announce at Vegas that they are continuing minis prize support at DMFs next year and announce at least a few DMFs, then the game is dead.

    4 days.

this is false. both the assertation you have come to and the logical conclusion you reached. I was simply correcting a previous poster. A new set release does not equal a games continued support by its producing company. I even threw in some supporting evidence based on logic and reason. While not as clever as misrepresenting anothers position in order to get in a self gratifying snappy quip it strikes me as somehow more helpfull.

I enjoy irony however so in parting, aut disce aut discede.

as much as your logic seems right and i sort of feel the same way.. i really hope this is false.. i invested a fair chunk of my change into this game and would like to see that it lasted more than just a year; or even 2 years for that matter

but oh well.. even if it is announced that the game is dead i will probably still collect the entire set of the next set of figures.. i'm a huge warcraft fan in general and it will give me somthing to paint when i'm bored or want to play with friends
