Demon’s Last Stand

Hi I havent found answer for this.... If I sacrifice my demon character, does my opponent gains honor for it? if not, its imba lol

Any time one of your non-pet characters is destroyed, no matter the cause or reason, your opponent gains 4 VP.

NOTE: Scenario rules can contradict that, like when you play a scenario that awards no VPs for character destruction.
