BattleGroundSanDiego will be hosting the Tanaris Realm Championship on November 14th and 15th!!!

The location will be

The Mission Valley Resort.
875 Hotel Circle South
San Diego, Ca 92108

I will be posting more information soon including hotel information and side events.

Thanks to everyone for the patience, I spoke with and visited 14 different locations regarding this event over the last few weeks and it has taken a great deal of my off work time.  As such, I have not had a chance to update the website.  That is my next priority as is updating the deck lists from the last event.

The Tucson crew has a room reserved and 2 car loads at least (6-8) that will be coming up to give it a go! Thanks for working to get the location, it's been frustrating on this end (and I'm sure on your's as well) but the place looks great.

On a side note you might want to holler at Sky High Comics, (it is the one in San Marcos right?), I called up there yesterday to confirm the LCQ and the guy I talked to and the guy he checked with didn't know about the LCQ.

The TW crew has to hit the LCQ more than likely to get the last 2 pts for a couple of our folks and then we'll see you all at the main event.

Have you actually seen any information on LCQs posted? I doubt that they are RQs and give points. I would think it's more like 'Top 4 get qualified'. If you have info about it, please post it.

Actually Lanky I haven't seen anything, but it never occured to me that now that we are using a pt system that they would change it up quite that drastically.... Guess we need some word on that as that will definitely sway some of the folks from here..... Thanks for bringing that up. Gwon? Roshen? Javier? Help?

Realm Championships is an invitation only tournament, and you can only be invited through accumulating enough points through Realm Qualifiers that took place in that Realm.

LCQs will award Realm Points, just like any other qualifier has in the season. These points count towards qualifying to play in the Championship, and Realm Conqueror.

Then I have a suggestion. You should not call them Last Chance Qualifiers at all. You should call them Final Realm Qualifiers or something.

That is, there will be a Final Realm Qualifier at xxxxxx......etc.

EDIT: Actually, scratch that. They presumably don't count toward Realm Conq, and arene't open to people who have already qualified, so giving them some other name is probably fine.

Ok, to add, I just got off the phone with Customer service (hopefully they have the info we need, right?) and the gentleman I spoke to said that they were told that it would still be on the pt system. That was the word that they had, so we go with that for now..... good catch though Lanky

Edit: But Roshen trounces me in gettign the info out, way to go Ry! Seriously though, thanks for the clarification.

Mozu: I think you were the person who called Sky High literally 5 minutes before I came in to talk about the Last Chance Qualifier with the store owner. The guy you talked to (Darren) had a laugh at my timing. :)

It will be good to meet you too man. Don't worry about us though, after we drive to an outside event our on call Doc hits us up with the prescribed trancs! At that point the drool and babbling is about as bad as it gets.... I think. ^_^
