lifetap is just the worst card ever.

Re: The Gladiators - Battle Lock

I can think of many cards that are much worse than lifetap. It's a 2 cost 2 damage draw 2 cards at instant speed. Much better than drain will.

    Thanks Jstncloud for the sig

Its a nice deck - still seems that Kilzin and Daspien are little faster.

Complete lack of Equipment removal in agro lately is a call for Aegis of the Vindicator to come back. :-)

    62! That's more appalling than 61.

You can cut 1 dominate and 1 life tap - and you are back to 60

Or cut 4 life tap and add 2 of any of a zillion better warlock cards.. hell, play bloody ritual if you want to damage your hero so bad. Or more draenei's junk if you want instant so bad.

I dunno, he makes a decent argument for it in this deck, though I'm still not a fan. It doesn't make a bit of sense to me in a deck running 62 cards, though.

A couple years ago, it didn't seem like a big deal when my opponent played Life Tap; these days, with everything being so much faster, it's actually sort of unnerving wondering what those 2 new cards are going to be...

This deck is awful, who would ever play something like that, he must have gotten really lucky.

Re: The Gladiators - Battle Lock

No offense to Denis but this deck looks retarded. 62 cards? Seriously?

I also agree on the lifetap, I would replace it with drain will. I doubt you would get many good trades with promise of darkness either, it just seems like a dead card most of the time.

Hovin the shield? Your joking right? Look's like somebody made their sideboard last minute before nats.

I never thought I would say this but I agree with Trikon. The dude must have gotten turn 3 Adam all day long or something.

    He is for the flip.

People too often give definite opinions about deck without testing.

I also no not think this can be top tier deck, but deck like this can suprise at one big tournament, and that is enough for the builder. Next tounament he will play something completely different, and you will again be suprised.

Especially people who net-deck all the time - give some credit to builders.

For instance i also cannot understand how that slow Kilzin with Truncheon can win NACC, when i am sure ( even test to be sure) it cannot win my local battlegrounds ( for me one with Amnesty, Brok, Johnny works much better than Truncheon , Doskura, and Bonechiever). But builder was reading the meta correctly obviously, and won.

Good points. Often when a deck is spotlighted, the comments are negative.

I more or less agree. It's one thing to look at the list in front of you and critique every single card. It's another thing to sit across from a good player with a deck you have no clue what it's all about. In real life setting, surprise factor is huge (ask Spreadbury and all his non-meta decks he top 8'd with) as well as making a very intentional meta call.
