    New Player in Austin, TX

I'm a new player in the Austin, TX area. I found on another website that Dragon's Lair runs friday night events at 7pm, and Juniors Comics runs Saturday 5PM events.

Are these both correct? I can't make the friday night ones (friday night...srsly? Come on...), but saturday late afternoon is more doable.

    Please let me know. :)

There is a relatively large group of us that play every friday night at Dragon's Lair. Tourny starts at 7pm, entry fee is $5, and we usually get around 10-12 people.

As for Juniors, I think that died out months ago..

A little more info about Dragon's Lair...

If it is constructed the tournament is $5

If it is sealed one box it is $15 and sealed two box or draft would be $30

We try to start at 7pm and you either would need to be there by then or make sure you give us a call if you need a few extra minutes...  Call the store and ask for Jennifer (with the WoW TCG/Minis group)...

Send PM if you have any questions

Also, Juniors has pretty much died out for Minis since folks weren't going.  However, if you want to play there on Saturdays at 5 I am sure it is an option if there are 4 people or more for the tournament.

Awesome!  I'm based out of Austin, and yes, you want to do Friday Night Minis :-)

www.txtcgplayer.com is a good resource for local players as is my site, www.critshappen.com

Hope to see you there this week, we'll be playing some form of King of the Hill, and you are welcome to borrow anything you need to make a party if you don't have something specific.

Thanks for all the info, peeps. Friday nights are, sadly, reliably a very bad time slot for me. Like, *maybe* 1/month I'd be able to make it...at most. I'll keep it in mind for those times I could make it, though...

So there's no other organized play in the area?

    p.s. Limber up!
