I am readingt the first collection of the wow comic and I have to say, it is really solid.  I can't stop reADING IT.

i am a wow loregeek and i didn't know those comics existed.
so one day a friend of mine comes to school and while we were talking about how taurens actually got enlisted into the horde...a guy comes by and says :
"Damm you must have read every freakin wow novel/comic out there....!!!"
And i say....
"No actually , that's just general in-game knowledge and wowwiki info......but...there are wow comics!?!?!??!?!?!"

I bought them (dunno if it is illegal to say that i .... torrented them...) and read them all in 2 nights :P!

Thing with those comics was...that as much as you move forward in the storyline one comic after another, you never get dissapointed with how things actually came out to be....and always had that problem with some comics XD!

My Trade Thread

I d o not play the online game but the way the include all the big names from the tcg and mini game it makes you want to go exprience these things.  I really like the art alot too.  Broll bear mantle makes me want to go make a night elf druid!  The art is crazy cool and Seeing thralls role and Cairnes roll is really cool as well.  I am diggin it for sure.  

I might have to go try to find these.  I've seen them around at comic/bookstores but never picked them up because I wasn't sure how good they were.  I've been wanting to read up more on my lore/stories for WOW though so I'll probably have to track these down.

As long as you do not buy them in hardcover the price will be reasonable.  And, it really is great stuff.

Just picked up the graphic novels on eBay. I believe it is issues 1-14 (in two books). Got them for about $11 a piece. I'm really looking forward to reading them.

edit: Are there 2 different WoW comic series? What is Ashbringer?

I bought the first two trades and the Ashbringer trade. I got some issues loose before, but I have to say that while I think the storylines are okay, the art puts me off horribly.

I'm only familiar with that one WoW comic with King Varian aka Lo'Gosh, Valeera, Broll and others. One were King Varian must get his throne back from imposter controlled by traitors after he escapes after being gladiator for Earthfury.
