Varimathras crit and Graccus/Aleyah

Just a curiosity thing really, was wondering if you crit with varimathras and graccus/aleyah is positioned like thus: X
X0
would graccus/aleyah take 6 damage from Varimathras's crit by taking the 2 damage from the X characters and his own damage or does this not trigger BoS?

edit: couldn't get the symbols to show up right but assume standard triangle with graccus next to both characters

Varimathras's crit effect is not combat damage, so it won't be redirected to either paladin.
