i have many question since i'm a newbie.

if cairne equipped with nightmare blade, and i have 3 success attack with crit, will cairne knock the defender back for 4 spaces? or just 3 spaces?

and if 1 controls 2 warlock, can i summon 1 pet for each warlock so i can control 2 pets?

I'm pretty sure Cairne would move the opponent 4 spaces, and 1 pet per warlock.

Re: i have many question since i'm a newbie.

After your attack there will be two triggered effects, one moving the defender one space and one *pushing* the defender 3 spaces. I *believe* since these affect your opponent's mini that he gets to choose the order they resolve in, though I may be wrong.

So the answer is you will move the defender 3 spaces, and 1 space, for a total of 4. But since one effect is a push (away from attacker only) and one is a generic move that can go in any direction, the order could matter.

Also, you can have 1 pet per character. That's pretty much the reason for dominance of Warlocks in the current metagame, and why Jaina Zoo band (Jaina + 2 hunters or Jaina + 1 hunter + 1 warlock) is so good.

oh my god. 1 pet per character? sounds gay to me >.<
about LOS, i have charcter with 3 range, and want to attack enemy's charcter 2 spaces infront of my char, but there is also enemy's character infront of my char blocking my char LOS. can i attack directly since my char has 3 range? or should my char move aside first?

and, cairne thunder clap, deals 2 damages. are enemy's characters rolls dice from its armor? or it deals directly 2 unblockable damage?

BlackBloc was close with his explanation.

Cairne's crit does not move anything.  His crit merely sets up the condition that enemy characters can be moved off the board this turn.  If that character is moved off the board, then it is destroyed.  This effect is applied immediately after the crit is rolled during 601.1c.

What actually moves the character is Cairne's effect when he deals damage (Sent Packing).  This effect happens during 602.1a, which is before Nightmare Blade's granted crit happens during 602.2.  As a result, the defender will be moved 3 spaces by Sent Packing and then 1 more by Nightmare Blade's crit.  The controller of Cairne makes all decisions for where the defender is moved.

    1.  If there is only 1 shortest path to the enemy you wish to attack, and LoS is blocked by another enemy character, then you will have to move your attacker to a different spot in order to obtain a clear LoS path to the character you wish to attack.

    2.  Cairne's Thunder Clap deals direct damage.  The character receiving that damage does not roll any defense dice to prevent it.

thx skey23, i'm still confused about LoS. but i'll try to understand it.

adjacent is spaces around the target space right? ie around cairne there is daxin, za'zu, and parvink. so daxin, za'zu, and parvink are adjacent to cairne right?

and, can warlock - destruction summon pet? when pet destroyed, is it can be summoned again after tick 10? (in new round) or the pet is removed from play?

Yeah..LoS can be confusing sometimes.  I still can't seem to count the correct number of spaces when I play...lol.

Yes, adjacent means the spaces around another space, or, you can think of it as being immediately next to something.

With pets, the master can summon a pet again when the pet ABC is ready.  If the pet is killed, it is simply removed from the field.  Nothing happens to the pet ABC.
