    Another look at Priest Control

Decided to test out the new nom nom nom Priest cards from FoH and build a Priest control.  I thought about either UD Holy of BE Disc.  I decided that Priest doesn't have enough draw and Solanian's and Silvermoon is just too good.

    Hero: Reasa Morningstar

    Quests:
    4x Solanians
    4x Darkness Calling
4x Call to Arms: Arathi Basin
    3x Eye of Storm

    Total: 15

    Abilities:
    4x Divine Spirit
    4x Ressurection
    4x Mist of Corrosion
    4x Melt Face
    3x Splinter Mind
    3x Dispel Magic
    3x A Taste of Divinity

    Total:25

    Allies:
    3 Vexmaster
    3 Doshura
    3 Munkin
    3 Skumm
    2 Zalan
    2 Naliss
    2 Exarch Onaala
    1 Greench

    Total:19

    Equipment:
    2 Belt of Blasting

    Total:2

    Grand Total: 61

    Side Deck:
    3 BKK
    1 Munkin
    2 Absorb Magic
    2 Shadow Word:Death
    2 Mass Dispel

    Total:10

So far it has been hit and miss.  There is a lot of versatility in the deck via, Vex/Dosh for allies, Munkin/Zalan for equip, Dispel/Zalan for abilities with Mist and Ressurection for awesomeness.  I am thinking of switching out Silvermoon for maybe Arathi Basin.  I also want to find space for Skumm and Naliss.  Any constructive comments are welcome.

    Thanks

I think that you Leonard have as much of a chance of having a sexual relationship with Penny as the Hubble telescope does of discovering at the center of every black hole is a little man with a flashlight searching for a circuit breaker.

How do you deal with Warlock control? It will just discard your hand with eye, drain mana/will, and victimize. Then you are left with little ways to win the game.

How about Black Ice? You just don't have enough anti ally to take out myriam, WE and weldon.

Maybe orcs. OK you may be able to beat Orcs.

I'm sorry, but I don't know if anything can be done to improve these match ups.

Have't played against any of those decks XD.  Had like 15 matches most have been against hunters.....  MWS this is, so of course I don't draw a Munkin....

Zalan seems like a sideboard card.

Your list has EofS instead of Silvermoon.

I think I would play bringer.

I put in EotS instead of Silvermoon after testing and really found it to be handy.  I am really starting to like Zalan as T4 Doshura to clean up an ally followed by T5 Zalan is pretty sexy against a Warrior deck.  I want to play Bringer but don't have space.

    Thanks for the replies.

It seems you are a little too anti-ally focused with cards like:

Vexmaster, Doshura, Taste of Divinity, Splinter Mind, Melt Face, Eye of the Storm

Non-ally based decks will seem to give you trouble. You don't really threaten them until turn 6 minimum.

That's true. Do you really need this much?

Very good point.  How about cutting out 4 Melt Face and put in 3 Bringer and rounding the deck down to 60.
