like the title says, what are some of your favorite characters from the MMO you'd love to see in the TCG? here's mine:
Alliance:Vanndar Stormpike (Dwarf Warrior): leader of the Stormpike Expedition, he's a major Alliance boss character in the Alterac Valley pvp Battleground. besides, we need more Dwarven unique characters (so far there's only King Magni, Kurdran and that Gryphon flight master I believe)
Archdruid Fandral Staghelm (Night Elf Druid): although he's quite the jerk in the MMO, he's definitely a powerful character (even stronger than Tyrande, who happens to be Darnassus' city boss). he can be the Alliance's counterpart to the Horde's Hamuul Runetotem/Alamo (so yay for Alliance druids?)
Farseer Nobundo (Draenei Shaman): he can have an effect similar to Fandral/Alamo but for shaman perhaps?
Talvash del Kissel (Gnome Jewelcrafter?)
: since I can't think of any noteworthy Gnomes from the Alliance (the tcg already has High Tinker Mekkatorque, Razak Ironsides and Tinkmaster Overspark, but it's still so few), so I thought of the next memorable gnome-quest giver from the MMO (he's involved in the Uldaman quests).
Horde:Drek'thar (Orc Shaman): If the Alliance has Vanndar Stormpike, the Horde has Frostwolf Clan's elder shaman, Drek'thar. he should come with his two pet wolves somehow (maybe tokens like Rexxar/Bear Lady Brala?)
Vol'jin (Troll Witchdoctor): as far as I know, the tcg has yet to receive any unique troll allies, so what better way to start off w/ the Darkspear's racial leader.
Magatha Grimtotem (Tauren Shaman): sure, she's evil, but officially she's still part of the Horde. she's also supposedly a powerful shaman in her own right, so she could be the Horde's equivalent of Farseer Nobundo. plus, if we include her, that makes it 3 Tauren unique allies in the tcg so far.
Nathanos Blightcaller (Undead Dark Ranger): Champion of the Banshee Queen herself, Nathanos provides a lot of quests for Horde players in the Eastern Plaguelands while also serving as the final target of the Alliance's questline.
Neutral:
Archmage Khadgar (Human Mage): the last Sons of Lothar member revealed so far who has yet to appear in the tcg. he also happens to be an important lore character and it still boggles me why he's still not in card form while lesser important beings like Xi'ri already got the tcg treatment.
Warlord Zul'jin (Troll Witchdoctor): let's face it, we'll never see Zul'Aman as a raid deck in the tcg. but being an important troll lore character, I think it's only fair that the chief of the Amani tribe can be played as a neutral ally.
Hakkar the Soulflayer (Blood God): like Zul'jin, Zul'Gurub's end baddie has no chance of being a raid boss for the tcg. however, I still feel the Gurubashi troll storyline is one of the best in WoW, so it would be a shame if Hakkar himself can't be played by players. (for Traitor heroes only perhaps?)
Edwin VanCleef (Human Rogue): leader of the Defias Brotherhood (a criminal organization seeking vengeance on the Stormwind nobles) and a major antagonist in another memorable + interesting storyline in WoW. I'm sure I'm not the only guy who hopes for the opportunity to play VanCleef himself. also considering his status as a wanted criminal, maybe he should be for Traitor heroes only as well?
those are some of my suggestions. heck, I don't care if these cards aren't even made in the current block, but just make sure we get to seem them somewhere along the line. c'mon UDE, make it happen!!
