Two pieces of equipment that I think would go a long way to improve the game....

Right now in minis there are two to three classes that do not see much play time. Recently one of those classes rogues got some love with the Boots of Utter Darkness. So what about priests and warriors. Here our my thoughts for a equipment for each that probably have them popping up in the Meta. Disclaimer I have never played the MMO so I have no idea if there is equipment like it in the game.

Warrior/Paladin: Ring of Swiftness -Honor 3- All melee attack cost one tick less.

Priest/Druid: Belt of Extended Reach -Honor 2- Adds +1 range to all ranged attacks.

I think these would be a great addition to the game I would pay three honor for Fillet swinging every turn or two honor to have a priest a little bit easier to keep alive. So what do you think and what equipments would you like to see?

Magic bullets are not the answer to balancing the game.

There are ways to do this with the synergy of building the team between the three that you choose.

Well that is where it breaks down a little this is a 3 fig game. So unlike mechwarrior or mageknight where you will see almost every fig to fill up armies that does not happen in WoW. You have precious little room for a squishy priest or a warrior with no resist. Do not get me wrong I love the game. I just hope they do a lot better with balancing the game in the next set.

Look at warriors they are supposed to be tough and deal out some damage. Mages/Warlocks/Shamans have them beat hands down for dps. Most warriors are 3 for 5 by the time they get across the field which is dominated by magic they have one swing and they are dead. If they make it across the field that is. So are you going to throw a on average 6 honor fig in your army that is going to get one swing in everytime they are on the field I think not...

I don't think the two equipments here would be considered magic bullets. Magic bullets are typically to nullify powerful strategies. For example, a card that said 'kill all pets on the board' would be a magic bullet.

The 1-tick reducing equipment might be a bit powerful, but I like the idea of the range-increasing equipment.

No way in hell these hypothetical equips are magic bullets.

And as to balancing the game, its pretty well unbalanced beyond hope as is with no chance of ever being balanced, so why not give an equip that lets melee be one less tick and increase the range of priests and druids.  With constant rule changes to make the game "work as intended," I say give the druids and priests some help.

The Facts are what they are. The Truth is what you make of them.

Re: Two pieces of equipment that I think would go a long way to improve the game....

Now let's not jump to hyperbole.  The game is young and already there have been unforseen shifts in power (DoTs were once thought to be horrible is the first example that comes to mind).  To say it is unbalanced beyond all hope is going way too far.

I don't think the cards proposed are particularly good answers though.  Let me ask this, in the MMO (please say nothing about "this isn't the MMO... blah blah blah") do warlocks have the same amount of HP as warriors?  I think that is where a step got missed personally, but I am not a game designer.  So maybe a 2 honor piece for warriors only that adds 2 or 3 or 4 HP?

    Master Tactician and Rexxar...

In the MMO, a warrior intent on dealing damage and a warlock that is pvp-equipped will have similar levels of HP. A properly equipped PvP-lock will have ~2k more, or roughly 8%.

yeah warriors might see some really good love in the form of an action bar card that goes somthing like this

"Spell Reflect" - React - play on when this character is targeted by an ability, that enemy's ability now targets itself or one of its allies of your choice
