    wow a couple of those quest are pretty amazing.... looks like cheap draw effects are starting to become the norm now days

    Grats Damien. Great article.

    I'm loving the last quest, considering the whole Ghoul/Raise Dead stuff the DK's are doing. Attack with a damaged ghoul, pop it with Betrayal, and get a fresh one back at the end of your turn.

    My initial thoughts when seeing it were a little sour, but after thinking about it this was exactly the thought I came to as well. I touched on it a little in the article, and in the spirit of it I didn't go too deep into it (I was avoiding talking too much about the power level or playable combo/deck archetypes) but I definitely started to see some interesting possibilities with that quest and some of the newly previewed DK Allies/abilities.

    It's very well-written and brings the flavor of the MMO to the cards. You should be proud!

    Yes, being a first article it's very good -even if there's no Singapore's donuts on it 8-) -.
    It's a pity though, that the article has been uploaded a bit late since a few of us have already bought the boxes and seen the cards.
    I know that's not your fault.
    Let's hope your next article comes in time and it's not just an enjoying read but also a surprise.

    Seems like loseing a guy just to draw a card for one is too situation to really play. You need to activly want your own creatures dead, stuff when this is put inot a graveyard from play triggers.

     

    Without something like that too often you won't be able to use it properly and the reward isn't very exciting anyway.

    Best quest of the 3 is Darkness Calls
    Pay 3 draw 2 and discard is great.

    The +1 ATK on a weapon will see plenty of play when DK's become good.

    Paying 3 just for +1 to weapon without the card really isn't good enough. It's only going to get played by weapon DKs if at all.

    +1 to both daggers you get with surprise attacks for 1
    the quest is great for Dk ... not very effective for other classes

    yes but theres a synergy with In Defence of Halaa and potential for draw. I see it being decent.

    Its not unheard of to use these types of quests out of their niche. Solanians saw lots of play in earlier Boomkin.  Manhunt helped even non-human alliance hero search out Myriam and Kazamon. Twarting Kolkar Aggression has also been put in a few decks that are not trolls prior to Skumm to help eliminate opposing quests.

    This Hazardous materials could help pump weapons or draw or a card. Not bad imo.

    not bad ... but I meant rogue has better choices
    paying 3 is a lot for a fast rush rogue (where I could see this played )

    and solanian and the troll quest both had unique effects at that time
    now people run the neutral quest anyway ... instead of solanians
    and the location for killing quests is better then the quest

    maybe it could have potential , but in DK it will be powerful
    pay 3 for a +1 AND draw a card is good

    all we need now are good weapons that don't kill themselves
