Who won the realm championship in Minnesota

I noticed that I play with a few of the guys that ended up in the top 8.  I am just curious if one of them managed to win.

Here is the approximate breakdown if you are curious...

I'm not sure between each one as far as 3rd or 4th etc, but the following placed somewhere in these areas.

    Eric Netzl 3-4

    Michael Pozsgay 1

    Jeremy Grundahl 5-8

    Bob Delk 5-8

    Justin Leisner 5-8

    Ben Rislove 3-4

    Jeff Grundahl 5-8

    Tony Faber 2

Pozsgay beat me in the finals with Vashj/Crushridge/Rethligore.

True story: Pozsgay's ABCs for the above band were 3x Santuria, 2x CoA, 2x Corruption, 1x Soulseeker and 1x Death Coil, as his Vashj already crits on 9s without equipment thanks to a print defect that was later identified as black Sharpie.  As for the warlock ABCs on non-warlocks, no one questioned him as it's a well known fact that Mike always plays warlocks.  "We all figured his character cards were misprinted to not have the warlock class symbol, and that made sense to us at the time," said one stunned competitor.

    I Believe Michael Pozsgay.

I also Believe Michael Pozsgay. With a gigantic B. Because he's a God amongst men. If he tells me Mojo Mender Jainah is the tech that blows the meta wide open, then I will playtest Mojo Mender.

Michael Pozsgay once won a DMF with triple Celenias Firemane.

Also, Michael Pozsgay crits on 8s. And he hits on 1s.

Once, Michael Pozsgay didn't crit on his dice roll. He looked at his dice angrily, and all of them flipped to the crit symbol.

Michael Pozsgay is also the first WoW Minis DMF winner. He actually built a time machine, went back in time to 30000 B.C., taught a bunch of cavemen to play the game and beat them all, just so he could spite Corle.

Here's a true Michael Pozsgay story from the weekend. Poz lost only one game on Sunday - the first one that he "played". He lost when he sat at the wrong table, played the wrong opponent and took a match forfeit for it.

Chuck Norris' only lose in anything was to Pozsgay in a game of Minis.  Chuck was so mad he threw an ancient voodoo hex on Mike that made his facial hair grow so scruffy that he would always look like a hobo. ;)

Michael Pozsgay doesn't look like a hobo.

    Hobos look like Michael Pozsgay.

I don't know if I played against Michael or not.   I do remember the epic game of qualifying against Justin tho.   It was a good time all around.  Just wished I had better than 15% dice success rate the entire day.  :(

apparantly mind controlling my haruka to kill thangal twice is detrimental to a fast win.  i think my haruka was your team's mvp in that game.

Re: Who won the realm championship in Minnesota

That was you?   My head was hurting hardcore after 6pm, so I don't really remember to much of the 3rd round qualifiers.  I do remember that the mind controlled haruka was the only character I could get to do any damage, as all my guys sucked bad in the rolling department.   I did have a 2 game streak in the 3rd rounds, but I don't remember them.  :)   I think it was that pizza bread thing I ate from the gamestore.   Minor food poisoning.  Once I puked on the start of the 3rd round, I felt better.  :)  But my dice rolls were still terrible.

Nothing beats the time I attacked grounding totem and lost.  :)
