    I have seen and played and used other miniatures. Nothing quite like the "clock" exists. It still seems so basic as to be almost too simple.

    The play clock for WoW Mini's is a nice time tracking "element". And it's large enough for everyone to see and visible from both sides of the field. Can't say enough about how impressed I am with what I have seen of the products and game.

    closest thing to the clock I've seen in as game is in the game Metalgear acid for the PSP.
    Not sure if that was the inspiration for wowminis or just a coincidence but I really find using time as a resource to be a novel way to pay for abilities.
