    <System> Player Lost

Now the deck I was playing hasn't been played in awhile or even seen a Top 8 in a long time.  I couldn't believe the comment he made. For one the guy didn't even take the time to play the game through let alone see what other cards I was playing.

    What do you guys think?

Because for one I am  very laid back player that doesn't mind playing good players or even noobs. Just as long as I can play the game. Especially since I havent played since Worlds.

    Re: While Playing on MWS.....

Unfortunately, due to the anonymous nature of MWS and the ability to constantly change your name, there will always be bad players who are either rude or incompetent.  You can even have people take your name, as Kysuke had happen to him a while back.  Even though I make the databases for WoW on MWS, I would love to see UDE make their own online TCG interface.  The first recommendation I would give is have players register, so this problem can't happen.  Until then, just stick to playing people you recognize.  My AIM is tinytode, so if you ever want to play just send an IM.  But please keep in mind, I am a crappy player :)

Yeah I know but I just wanted to point out that people do talk ish and quit games that they probably can't win but didn't even try to play it out to see what the out come would be. Since I am such a bad player I probably would have lost.  But to say what he said and quit is pretty retarded.

    Re: While Playing on MWS.....

Yeah, I played against him as well. He wasn't happy with me either because I was trying a priest control variant.

Now look. I know I may not be the most pleasant player to go up against on MWS (I use a couple of different names because well...sometimes I let my emotions get the best of me). I hate losing, even in testing sometimes it bothers me. But I at least have enough restraint not to post stuff like what your opponent posted.

Oh well, thems the breaks. Just don't play against anyone who seems to remind you of this dude. All I can suggest.

    Re: While Playing on MWS.....

Lol, played against the EXACT player who said the EXACT same thing.

Was playing a Rebirth Combo Jank Deck... can't get more original then that.\

Got him back though, changed name and initiated a game with him, as soon as the game started I said "%$# you, you piece of #@!, stop being a whiny lil $@%#$ and grow the balls to admit when you lost"

    This is my signature
    There are many like it
    But this one is mine

    Re: While Playing on MWS.....

Well it doesn't really matter to me because he was the one that quit.  I haven't really had experience with anybody on MWS.  Most of the people I have played are pleasant.

    Re: While Playing on MWS.....

Yeah thats MWS.  Similiar thing happened to me but I was playing a new deck.  Guy cursed me out when I was running a jank mage lock down.  He was top decking and I drew into two touch of ices and a brain lock.  He then cursed and said my deck was gay and ditched.

heh. I think I've played against you a few times Frank. I keep end up playing Boomkin variants against that deck.

I don't remember playing Boomkin more than once or twice with it.  Was it Tazo?

At one stage I thought there was a bug with MWS because every time I played Abominable Greench, The I got this message:

    <System> Player Lost

    Re: While Playing on MWS.....

MWS is full of a-holes. You get the people who quit if you run a 'net-deck' and the people who quit if you don't run a net-deck, and then you get the people who swear they know some rule (always favorable to them)  and call you a cheater when you don't let them take back a play after they've been an asshat to you the whole time. I also get irked by people who spam the macros, like clicking Wait! everytime you do something.

I've played against the exact same player who said the exact same thing. Guess someone can't come up with original put-downs.

    Re: While Playing on MWS.....

I played a guy who said that exact same thing as well.  Couple of funny notes though.  One his name was chuck norris and we all know that chuck norris would never quit (he also would have never lost).

The kicker is though the deck he was playing...wait for it....GOREBELLY.  Talk about original.

    Re: While Playing on MWS.....

I've played maybe a couple dozen games on MWS, and I've had really good luck so far. The worst I've gotten was people leaving without saying gg after they win or lose, but that's no big deal. All in all, most people have been polite enough.

I'd say don't sweat it. That guy's a jerk, but just find another game and forget it.

EDIT: Also, personally I prefer to play against tournament-worthy decks, which a lot of times means net-decks. I play a lot of net-decks myself so I can get a feel for how they work. It's a great way to learn a deck inside and out. But if someone shows up with a janky deck, that's fine, it's a good test because you face those in tournaments, too.
