First off if your new to the state welcome........

I'm Todd and am teammates with Damien so I don't know if I count in your search of players.  I live in Bridgewater Mass which is in between Boston and Cape Cod.  If your looking for a gaming community Danger Planet is about the only place I can think of that has a reliable community of players.  One of their players I believe were able to take down a top 8 slot at the slugfest that was the realm champs.  However, sadly most of the players in the state are out west along with Damien you got Drew, Rich, Jay, Jim, Tony, Josh, and Mike off the top of my head that play this game. 

 

If you want to meet up sometime to test let me know and just reply here.

BTW, Todd, I've actually lived in MA all my life, I just got started on playing WoW seriously after qualifying for Continentals. Let me know what your schedule is like if you want to test.

Well I don't live in Massachusetts, but I basically drive 5 minutes and be in Massachusetts.  I know there isn't much of anything other than the Regionals and Realm Qualifiers at YMG, but we were meeting at Danger Planet once a week before Realm Champs. However, since then we haven't met at all and I'm about the only one among that group whos played any tournaments with the new format. I know there are several places trying to get WoW events started. The place that held the Ogre Smash and Bash (speaking of which, where were you Todd and Damien? Not that Joe and I minded the easy tournament win) is contemplating running events, though thats located in Manchester which may be too long to drive.  If there is something that gets started in the Boston area, I'll likely be there as Boston isn't that far of a trip for me.

I had mixed feelings about the Smash and Bash as I kinda felt obligated to protect my homeland.  The owner of that store is extremely nice and I would often hang out with him on my lunch breaks as an intern for the prison while working in Manchester.  I hope if he is reading these forums that he doesn't get discouraged by the turnout and stays with the promotion of the game.  Personally, I just wanted a weekend off from gaming and worked on my thesis while Damien chilled out as well.  However, if you want to play for those ogre suits you just let me know!  Anyways DJSamurai I can play at a local card store that sells wow product called Battlegrounds in Abington, MA.  Its right off of Route 18.  PM me and we can take it from there.
