    pets?

will the hunter/warlock minis come with a pet or will the pets be randomly put in with the boosters?

Unknown at this time(at least to me).  One could hope that a pet/minon was in the same booster pack as a hunter/warlock.   The wording 3 random figures of the same factions seems to indicat that they would not since pets/minons should be factionless, which could mean that they would be in a monster pack.

    Re: pets?

Either that or pets are going to be included on the ability cards that go along with the game, with figure to be obtained at a later date or some sort of support/special booster designed/meant specifically for pets and/or tokens.

They could do the same as they have done with the TCG, You will need to "buy" the pets with points through the point store. That could make sense in that minis will come with point cards as well. So if true anything can represent a pet until you get the actual think. This is just speculation though...

    Re: pets?

Well I can see a point at which UDE mite put pets/minions in the point store, I can not see it as the main way of getting them.  We have all ready seen the voidwalker sculpt, which would seem to indicate that it is part of the orginal 66 figures for the first set.  Now from a collectors viewpoint holding out a figure from a set would not sit well with the collector group set.

Now depending on what type of official play will be provided and how playable a hunter/warlock is without his pet/minion, mite also indicate that the pet/minion would be included in the same package.
