I spoke with Victor Cantu (of BGSD fame) today, the Tournament Organizer for Tanaris Realm Championships. I've posted as much information as he gave me, and will keep updating this page as more info becomes available.

Just wanted to throw it out there that I've updated the Sky High Comics tournament thread. We may not know where the Tanaris Realm Championship will be (d'oh!), but you can still prepare for it the weekend before at our Warm-Up Tournament. If we can get some good attendance, I will throw down a number of mid-level loots for the top finishers, as well as Battlegrounds prizes for everybody (including random entry EAs and badges of justice for the new 'te h brokz' rings). Check the thread out, post in it, PM me, or even give me a call if you are interested in attending. :)

Please note that UD Retail has changed this weekend's tourney from Sunday @ 1:30pm to SATURDAY @ 3pm.
I'm planning to join, and hope to see you out there!

I may start hosting Friday night events at my place in Irvine.

The 10/11 event was canceled as I forgot it was Worlds weekend (had plans to go so I let the usual crowd know ahead of time).

I do intend to run something big at least once a month though, especially during off seasons. Once Realm Championships are set in stone and we know the Tanaris location, I'll probably hold a $20 entry event with some loot at least something really cool up for grabs the weekend before, just to get everyone who attends warmed up and ready for the main event.

Just wanted to throw out a heads-up that I'm going to host a $15 entry constructed event on what looks to be Sunday, 10/11 since I'm told Victor has an event going on 10/4. If that doesn't conflict with anything big, I'm hoping to see some OC and LA guys make the trek down. I'll see what I can do for prizes besides just WoW Credit at the store, and I'm going to try and make this a monthly thing so that people ahve some exciting stuff to look forward to in SoCal even during off-seasons. :)

Dont forget to add Sky High Comics to the list: Sundays at 12 pm, format changes week to week. (this weekend is constructed, weekend after is limited, I intend for formats to alternate each week)
