Welcome to the Official WoW TCG Forums! These pages are your best way to stay in contact with the WoW TCG community, and exchange information and opinions. In order to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, please follow the rules listed below. Any posts that break these rules will be deleted, and may result in banning.

1) No profanity, inappropriate content, hateful language or harassment is allowed in any form.

2) Do not link to unrelated or inappropriate websites. This includes ebay auctions and sales of any kind. We’re cool with linking to anything that helps the community to grow, but please do not use the forums as your personal outlet for advertisements. You will be banned.

3) Please keep your posts located in the appropriate sections. There’s plenty to talk about in the WoW universe, so please make sure your posts are under the right subject. This will help keep things organized, and will create a better experience for everyone.

4) Please be courteous, respectful and helpful to all users. Again, we’re trying to build a helpful, positive community on these boards.

5) Do not disrupt the forum to draw more attention to your post. This includes but is not limited to putting titles or posts in all caps, or excessively bumping posts.

6) Please do not use the boards for private discussions. This can be done via private message.

Hey, just putting out a call to all the other Pittsburgh gamers that I hope are reading this.

If you are planning on playing WoW TCG, post up on here and lets start getting ready to have some tournaments up here in da Burgh. I know the gaming community around here can be a bit small, but if we can get even 10 people together, I think we are gonna be doing pretty well.

I plan at gaming at Phantom in Oakland, but if anyone else has places that they want to play, please let the rest of us know.

Sunday Sneak Preview, Yorktown VA

Man, I'm bad about getting things like this taken care of in a timely manner.... I'm starting to understand why UDE has a problem with announcing things well enough in advance:/

Anyway, Jersey's Yorktown will be hosting a Sneak Preview on Sunday for those of you that didn't get enough Scourgewar today. Start time is 12:30. Seating is limited due to limited Scourgewar, unfortunately. We'll have old BG stuff as door prizes in addition to the packs, deck boxes, and playmats from the Sneak Preview kit. I'll even be throwing in a few random playmats and deckboxes from other places as door prizes for fun:)

Details:

Every Sunday at 1 PM, Sky High Comics will be running WoW TCG Constructed events. Entry is $5, prize payout is in WoW credit at the store (usable on any WoW boosters and singles available).

I realize that football season is rough in terms of schedule conflicts, so I think it is important to note that we have a pizza place that has two big screen TVs and an aptitude for sports in the same shopping center as the comic shop. If you decide not to play, or the tournament starts off sour for you, a place to get a beer and watch the day's games is literally only 20 steps away. :)

Details: Think you're going to smoke the Tanaris Realm Championship? Put your money where your mouth is. In addition to Battlegrounds prizes (this is still an official Battlegrounds event), First place will receive a Owned! loot card! If we break the 20 player barrier for this event, I'll also award a Pinata to first place. Random packs which either contain a random EA or a Badge of Justice to all those who enter, so come on down and show SoCal's players that you're taking the Championship down!

11/13:
-Tanaris Realm Last Chance Qualifier
Entry: $10.00
Starts: 3:00 PM
Details: Last chance to qualify for the Realm Championships and the sick prizes it offers. Come compete to see who gets second place to locked Realm Conqueror Corey Burkhart! :P
Standard Realm Qualifier prize breakdown. NOTE: I will be paying cash instead of store credit for all cards on buy-list for this event, and if you have any specific needs for this event or the Realm Championship, I'd advise you to let me know via PM ASAP so I can quote you on any prices as well as respectively add it to the buy-list at $1 less than I will charge you per card.

Scougewar packs for sale at $3.00 a pack! Booster boxes for $69! Normal retail price on Scourgewar AFTER release day will be $3.99 per pack, with boxes selling for $88.
ALL singles in case are 20% off this day as well!
I will be available all Friday and will also be buying WoW cards. Buy-list will be available, but if you have anything to show I'll consider it. I will pay cash on Friday only. After 11/27, buy-list reverts back to WoW credit (soon to be redeemable on my trading thread here on the forums which will be created by next week), with a hefty reduction on what you get if you want cash instead.
If there is interest in booster drafts on Black Friday, I'll sanction them and run them. Cost would be $12 ON RELEASE DAY ONLY, with 5-3-1-1 pack pay out to first through fourth (assuming we have 8 players in a draft, number will adjust to accommodate less players if need be).

Format: Scourgewar Sealed (6 packs). Swiss, prize payouts after swiss.
Prizes: Prize pool is in WoW Credit, $5.00 of each entry goes towards the pool awarded to the top players. First place gets a priest deck-box instead of normal Battlegrounds awards, random priest deck-box given as a door prize. Random Badge of Justice or rare given to each entry, in addition to the release celebration promo card.
BONUS: Same offer as the sneak preview. Bring a new friend for some sealed pack fun, get $5.00 off your entry.
SALES SPECIAL: For those who don't get their purchases in on Friday, shucks! No big discounts for you. However, I will offer 10% off on all WoW purchases for the release event, so if you can't make it out Friday, I'd recommend making it out to this.

12/6:
I will be out of town for DMF Vegas, so singles purchases will not be up from December 4th to 6th. I will, however, schedule a booster draft event with Scourgewar that day. Cost of entry is $15.00. Each entrant contributes 2 packs to the prize pool with that entry cost, with Battlegrounds prizes included.

Well i though i would start by making us a thread were we can always post what going on every weekend for any games going on in Indiana. I think i am gonna post some of the normal areas most of us usually play at but i can add more if anyone knows of any i am missing.

Scourgewar Sneak Peak - Whitby Ontario - Comic Book Addiction

Attention one and all!

CBA is hosting a sneak peak for southern Ontario on Saturday, November 21st. This will be the first chance to get your Scourgewar cards before they are available for purchase.

Steve (the store owner) wanted me to inform everyone that he is giving away AMAZING prizes! There will be TWO random door prizes of 12 packs of Fields of Honor. In addition to Scourgewar prize packs, he also plans on giving away Fields of Honor booster packs to top finishers (12 packs for first place)! I repeat, these are in ADDITION to Scourgewar prize packs!

There will also be Scourgewar Playmats, Deckboxes and EAs to be distributed among participants.

There's really no reason not to come! No experience necessary with the WoW TCG. We have a fairly large player-base of varying skill levels.

NY/NJ/CT Scourgewar Sneak Preview

Where are people from the NYC, Long Island, Connecticut, and New Jersey areas planning to go for the Sneak Preview? Seems like we should coordinate a bit and try to get the biggest turnout we can, instead of having like 6 people each at like 4 different locations.

Yes I have some good news. I have found you a fantastic store for battlegrounds. It has room for 100 players. Yep lots of gaming space that even has some private rooms for roleplayers. Great food next to it. They also support the game 100% with single and lots of product. They have the information from me to get battleground kits and elite event stuff. They will contact them early next week.

Figured I'd make a thread just so those attending the Realm Championships in San Diego know it's coming.

This is your last chance to qualify for the Realm Championships. Realm Points awarded just like any other Realm Qualifier, meaning this counts towards Realm Conqueror. If anything it's a great warm-up for the next day, so I'm hoping to see some people show up. :)

Also, Sky High will be hosting a Pre-Champs event in place of its normal Battlegrounds event on Sunday, November 8th.

BoJ "Gamers Giving Grub" tournament

On December 19, 2009, CCGs Cards Comics and Games in Pittsburgh, PA will be holding a World of Warcraft TCG “Gamers Giving Grub” Constructed tournament where the first place prize will be a complete playset of all 8 Badge of Justice cards. The entry fee for this tournament will be a minimum of $10 worth of non-perishable groceries which will be donated to the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank. Registration will begin at Noon, and play will begin at 1PM.

The items most in demand at this time of year include: Instant mashed potatoes, Boxed stuffing mix, Canned corn, beans, yams, Canned cranberry, Cake, brownie, or dessert mix, Cornbread or quick bread mix, Instant or canned gravy, Pie crust mix, Pumpkin pie filling, Canned fruit (packed in juice), Juice (100 % juice),and Holiday napkins and paper products.

In addition to the Badge cards, we will be giving out large numbers of EAs, as well as some other special items!

Tanaris Realm Championship Comes to San Diego!!!

BattleGroundSanDiego will be hosting the Tanaris Realm Championship on November 14th and 15th!!!

The location will be

The Mission Valley Resort.

I will be posting more information soon including hotel information and side events.

Thanks to everyone for the patience, I spoke with and visited 14 different locations regarding this event over the last few weeks and it has taken a great deal of my off work time. As such, I have not had a chance to update the website. That is my next priority as is updating the deck lists from the last event.

Get yer decks ready for one hell of an event!!!

Tucson WOW tournament schedule July-Dec '09

Here is the schedule for Tucson WOW until Dec. Some things may change later in the year as the new OP program rolls out, although I would say that things are “set in stone” at least until the Gen Con road trip. All events start @ 12:30 and ALL events will be reprted via mantis. Entry fee for any standard constructed event, sanctioned or not is $5, this puts 1.5 packs in the pool. Any given Sun that we don’t have a tournament there will still be players in the store as it will be a “free play” event. All events to include free play will be tracked in Mantis.
