Background:
I prefer to play games IRL, but I also frequently use computer software as a card-searching tool for new deck ideas, combos and additional synergies for the TCGs I play. I am a long-term user of Apprentice. Oddly, there does not seem to be an up-to-date WoW patch for Appr. Therefore, I decided to download MWS with the latest WoW patch (version 7.0). I was hoping to be able to search for ability and equipment cards by class, which is practically impossible using WoWTCGdb site due to its very poor filtering options.

Problem:
Although MWS has a familiar, Apprentice-style filtering tool, I can not figure out how to use it to search for abilities and equipment based on class. How do I do this? ATM, the program is useless for me because it is easier for me to browse through my IRL card collection (abilities already pre-filtered by class) than to browse through the MWS database.

All help is appreciated.

Hi

I'm a new WoW-TGC player, but i play MtG too.
For playing MtG i use also MWS.

My question is now, what happens with my MWS if I download WoW too?
Creates woW only a new masterbase, or are there other changes?

Sounds like you have a firewall of some kind messing with you, try disabling security software.

hi i cant seem to get magic online play to work because when i start a new game and load my deck when i click call it said connection error cannot conect i was wondering if u can help at all

I have downloaded MWS to start playing it. I have downloaded pretty much all the patches and have all the sets but I am having trouble with some of the card pictures. For example Xanata is not showing up as well as all of the badge of justice cards, bt raid cards. Any thoughts?

So I've come over to MWS to do some testing, what servers do you guys use because all I can find are a gajillion magic games and no wow games.

5.0 is the core of the latest release. 5.2 only included the new crafting cards and the 2 promo deathknight cards. The file is a "patch" to the 5.0 core, and as such, I can email directly to you since the file is very small. Send me a PM with your email address if this would help.

I apologize I searched for MWS and saw this thread. I just downloaded 5.0 through rapid share. I guess I will have to wait to download 5.2 thanks though.

First off, this post is very old. The most recent patch is version 5.2. The link is here:

Secondly, I have tried numerous times, but cannot seem to get megaupload.com to work on either of my browsers (IE & Mozilla). I have only hosted the files through rapidshare. If someone would like to mirror the files, either on Megaupload or another free site, including their own personal site, I would be more than happy to oblige.

Just add the hero to your deck. At the beginning of the game, search for it through your library and put it into play. After looking through the deck and closing it, your deck should auto-shuffle. If it doesn't, remember to.

Or maybe he should just add it to his sideboard so it takes him only a second to pull it out instead of searching for it. (Use the green arrow to add cards to your SB)

View -> My Sideboard

In addition to my previous question how do you play your hero? There doesn't seem to be an option to set out your hero at the begining of the game. It just gets shuffled in your deck with everything else.

If someone could take pitty on me and teach me how to use this program I would really appreciate it. If you can please send me a tell with your time zone and when you might be able to teach me. Please?
