So if you can play a pet for 0 ticks, and get his personal clock to match the master clock, it may take a turn during that tick.
Re: Summon Greater Water Elemental questions

2449855:

You only tick up when you're finished with your turn and have taken no other actions to advance your clock. Each pet takes individual turns separate from its master. However, a pet is removed from play if its master is destroyed. Each pet has the same faction as its master. The honor of a pet is 0.
Pets follow all character rules except for the following:

Given that the rules never said that the pet is destroyed before it is RMP, it was logically concluded that the card does not ready as the ABC trigger did not occur.
Re: Summon Greater Water Elemental questions

Wow, Jaina can die?
Does Summon GWE readies if Jaina dies? Just want to confirm the answer I received this week that the GWE is *removed from game* upon Jaina's death and thus is never destroyed, thus the ABC doesn't ready.

Follow-up question in case I'm wrong: If it *does* ready upon Jaina's death, how does this work out if she has Viper Sting on her? Is the debuffed destroyed before her pet, or after? (This is probably a useless question, since I assume the card doesn't even ready.)
