Welcome to the Official WoW TCG Forums! These pages are your best way to stay in contact with the WoW TCG community, and exchange information and opinions. In order to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, please follow the rules listed below. Any posts that break these rules will be deleted, and may result in banning.

If you have a loot card problem read this first

There are many problems that a user can experience when entering a loot code received from a World of Warcraft trading card or from the UDE Point Store.

The most common problem is that players take the code straight from the card and try to enter it in game with Landro in Booty Bay. This is not the proper way to redeem a loot code. Players must first type their 25-digit code into Blizzard’s Promotion Code Retrieval Page located at: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/misc/promotion.html

When a code is redeemed from the website, that code is “used,” so you need to be very, very sure you have the correct region and realm information. Otherwise, you risk not being able to redeem your code for an item. Your code cannot be used a second time.

Once you have turned your code for the correct Region and Realm there are a few other common problems that players have experienced:

Does Landro’s code box not fit all 25-digits? This is a known bug with this process. Before you do anything else, just log out of World of Warcraft and then log back in. This will usually resolve your problem. On occasion various mods can interfere with Landro's code redemption box. If you continue to have problems, disable all add-ons or mods before trying again.

Is the code typed correctly? Often times just copy and pasting the code from the promotions page can reduce a number of problems at this step in the process.

Was your inventory full the first time you entered this code? Blizzard’s website clearly states that failure to have at least one inventory space available when redeeming promotional items will result in the loss of the item. This code can not be used a second time. If you are intending to contact a GM about this issue you should inform them that you have a problem with a “Lost or Missing item,” not a defective promotional loot code.

Are you selecting the right item from Landro’s list? If you select the wrong item from his list, it will not accept your code. Please double check that the name of the card that you are redeeming resembles the name of the in game item that the code is good for.

Slashdance isn't on his list anywhere! The item you are looking for is "Party Grenade" under the "Drums of War" Promotions in Booty Bay

He didn’t give me my Spectral Tiger! Landro does not put any of the mounts, such as the Spectral Tiger or Rocket Mount, in your inventory. Instead after you have redeemed these codes a new option will open on his menu to purchase these mounts if you are the correct level and have the correct riding skill. If you do not meet these requirements, please return to Booty Bay when you do.

What else can I try? In some weird scenarios I have heard of the "WTF Folder" in the World of Warcraft Program files interfering with the loot code redemption process. Delete or move this folder, and reload World of Warcraft. Also, combat and non-combat pets can cause problems. Please dismiss your pet before trying again.

Please be aware that once a code has been entered through Blizzard’s Promotional page and informed a customer of the Region and Realm that the code has been redeemed on, Upper Deck no longer has any power over the item. Upper Deck can not move or replace items inside Blizzard’s online game.

Myself and others in the Mini's community are not having any luck getting an answer to our question on our own forums so i thought i would make a post here and see if we can get some attention.

In less than 2 weeks from this moment several of us will be sitting at tables ripping open some sealed miniatures booster packs and building a team to play on a map that we still do not know with different than normal VP rules. In another 4 hours after that we will sit down to start our constructed qualifiers on this same unknown map with our tri-color teams that we have not been able to test as of right now.

Can someone please please please tell us what map we are going to be playing on? With Thanksgiving between now and the DMF our testing time will be even shorter. Please!

Shipping time on Realms Prizes

So over the weekend I won a PS3 at the Realms I attended and the T.O. said it would be mailed out to us. I was curious about how long it would take for those to ship out and also if/how we would be notified of when they shipped.

Hello, I'm currently developing this adaptation for the WoW minis board game without any lucrative porpoise for the PC, making it a peer to peer game so players can play with users internationally and test some party combination.

At the moment the developing of the game is going fairly quick and smooth, expecting to have if complete by the end of the year and at least a preview of the game by the end of this month. (( only speculations, not a formal announcement )).

Taxing winnings from wrolds?

I won 10K during Worlds in Austin. When they mail the check will it be taxed or will i just pay taxes on year end? To put it clearly, will the check amount be 10K or a smaller number?

I am not sure I am in the right area, but here goes.

On March 18, 2009 I cashed in my points and placed an order for "Mechanical Dragonling (Mya, Dragonling Wrangler) SKU: mechdragontoken001"

The only reason I bought cards after the first pack was to get points to get my dragonling.

It is now July 4th and I have not received my order. Why?

I have tried to e-mail the company but they do not reply. What else can I do to get my order?

Can you mix Cards?

can you mix like fields of honor cards with like drums of war cards? and the same with decks can you mix diffrent decks with booster cards? oh and the new Death Knight deck can you mix that deck with diffrent booster packs like drums of war or fields of honor or any other diffrent packs, sorry for asking a lot lol im new to this and i like to know a lot about osmething before i buy and oh and if you know of a good deck to get first please put that in your response also thank you.

well i usually use wowtcgdb.com for card cataloging mainly because i can get the information in a spreadsheet format that's easy to print too. That site though has not put fields of honor in this spreadsheet format yet. So i was just checking if anyone had a site that had the fields of honor in an easy to print spreadsheet format.

We recently did the Battlegrounds tournament in which i won 3 out of the 4 weeks, and as such our T.O. has said that the winner of each week will get a deckbox and the winner by the end of it will get the playmat. However, he's been saying that the playmat never came with the prize set, so he's extended it another four weeks until, according to him, the Battlegrounds playmat comes with the Scourgewar Sneak Peak prize set, but has also said that everyone will get a deckbox, so i'm also missing out on two deckboxes that i won fairly.

My question is this; is there anywhere i can report this to Upperdeck and, if so, will they be able to do anything about this issue? Also, can Upperdeck confirm if they have or have not sent the full prize set to where the Tournaments are situated?

Hi.

I'm new here , and I'm new to in the WOW TCG.

I have some doubts about the games rules....

My fist question is : Can I put in my deck . cards from Raid Decks ?? ( Like Black Temple cards ?? ).....or I can only use boosters cards ??
Why Onyxia's Lair ( Raid Deck ) cards habe the border yellow , and Black Temple not ?

Can I build a Deck or two buying a Booster Box ?? ( Deck's just for playing with my friends )
( Or it's very hard ?? )

Tournament Organizing- How to Get Started

I run weekly Pokémon TCG tournaments at Aardvark Videos, Comics, and Games in Lusby, MD. WoW is selling pretty well here, so we've decided to start running regular weekly WoW TCG tournaments as well.

I have been struggling through the official WoW TCG website, and have found a lot of information, but have yet to see anything about running tournaments. So, here's my n00b question: What is the process for becoming a sanctioned tournament organizer and setting up our retail venue as a Battleground league, so we can run weekly tournaments and have that info displayed on the website?

I am excited about this and ready to get started.

when oh when will there be more items on the store. i have stacks of point cards that i have yet to enter because there is no point until more items come on. i guess i should be thankful that i finaly got my token cards but they took everything off the store and only left promisses.

Here is the situation, I do have another account were I have around 100k UDE points entered. One day I came back and couldn't remember my password so I tried different ones till I got this message.

You have exceeded the maximum amount of invalid login attempts.
We have disabled your account for your protection.

No problem I've had this problem before, but I've already sent 3 emails the first one over 2 months ago and haven't got a single reply.

I am selling the tabards on ebay and this is hindering my work so please tell me what to do or where to call.

Complaint About WoW TCG: Dark Portal

I'm an avid loot card collector however after this most recent purchase I've contemplated not only stopping collection of all Upper Deck products but also filing of a grievance with the Better Business Bureau. Within the last week I had stopped at Walmart and found that the Dark Portal booster boxes had been marked down, so I decided as I haven't attained any loot cards from that set to buy them out. A total of 10 boxes and 40 separate booster packs. I just got around to opening them, a total of 280 booster packs and came to find that not a single pack contained a loot card. Now I understand they are intended to be rare but out of nearly 12 boxes worth statistically speaking there should be at LEAST one. Due to this incident I'm growing in disbelief that this set even contains any despite the boasts on the packs that it does. I've e-mailed Upper Deck (recieved an automated response) got placed on hold by the customer service line until after 5:00 when they close, and this is a last resort. Should UDE not respond to this action will be taken as I've spent large sums on the company both present and past.

Booster Packs from walmart

Whenever I head into walmart I usually pick up a couple packs of TCG just to try my luck. I recently noticed that they are adding blank cards with magnetic strips inside of the booster packs to stop shoplifting. My question is does UDE add those are your plant or are the packages opened by MJ Holding Company and added then resealed? I am just wondering as a third party company being allowed to reopen packages.

Also I was passing through a Books a Million the other day and saw them selling Repacks. They were done back a company I believe was named Legacy? Is this stuff legit?

Problem with missing loot card redemption (for the deluxe mini box set)

Has anyone else not recieved their loot card for the deluxe box set? I sent my replacement form along with the corner of pg. 41 of the rulebook in around four months ago and still have not recieved it. How long is it supposed to take? Is there a number that I can call to question about this?

It's getting to the point where I'm getting very frustrated with the OP for TCG/Mini's here. I'm one of the TO/Judges for a local store and it seems like it's always an uphill battle to get support (kits/etc), responses/etc. I'm in a community of about a million people (with the subburbs)... and there are 13 comic/card shops around... actually 14 if the one that closed down a few months ago opens up with new owners. We get 4-6 people here, 4 people there... there's so many different places and so many small groups playing that it hurts the game. Coupled with the fact that it's like pulling teeth to get a organized play kit out of them only to finally get one and then have 3 people show up here because 3 others are at another store, and 3 more are at third store.

Now I'm not saying UDE are a bunch of idiots... Ry has been excellent with me both for OP and as a player, but I'm at the point in wondering why I'm expending so much time/energy to make this work when it seems like I'm alone in this.

Sorry, just needed to vent. I saw another store pop-up locally with only 4 players and I'm losing my Mini's slot to Friday Night Magic as well at my own store. =/

Scam offers

It seems that scamming on the forums is starting to pick up. Either people just excepting trades and not delivering on there end or people creating new accounts and trying to trade for large sums of cards/Minis. I just wanted to know if the forum mods are logging IPs for these people and banning them. If not then this could turn into a very big issue.
