After your explanations, it does seem like a fairly reasonable way to price things. So, as you say, this would be a great collection for someone who needs a jump-start.

Thanks for doing your due diligeance. Like I said, I priced most rares at $.50 by default mainly as a time saver. I don't think it's reasonable to nickpick for a penny in most cases. Also, most online venues charge shipping, so their prices could be understated. Lastly, I made this list a while ago and market prices fluctuate, especially for EAs. Now, I don't know what was in that EA playset but in eBay oftentimes you can find really good and undervalued deals if you're willing to spend the time and effort. For example, if an auction is priced at 1c and the title is mispelled or if the auction ends on a Monday night at 3am, then of course it would sell cheaply. But don't confuse that with its fair value.

But i understand your skepticism and agree that a card like BoW should be priced less. I chalk that up to me not being able to fully research all 1365838463 cards to price them with 100% accuracy. This is why I am offering a discount to the final value. Even then, the price tag isn't final and up for negotiation. I dare you to find a collection as vast as mine and sells for less. SCM's collection sold for a grand more.

I'm not looking to make a profit off this. I just want to be able to let go of my collection at a fair price. If you are serious about jumpstarting your collection quickly then I would think this offer is a good start, backed by my reputation as a trader and a player. So I went over this because I wanted to buy it. checked some prices... I think you need to redo your list. Innervate was marked at 2 dollars but at coolstuffinc.com it was only 1.49 dollars. Circle of life was the first card on the list... at 50 cents, but coolstuffinc.com, it was only 49 cents. Feral Rage, the second card on the list... Same thing marked at 50 cents on coolstuffinc for 49. Blessing of wisdom is 23rd on the list, it's listed at 3 dollars each and on coolstuffinc.... it's a dollar and 99 cents. Now to really get into it, Dreamstate is 778 on the list. Marked at 15 dollars each... this is where it gets funny. Coolstuffinc price: 1.99 Not just that, but a set of EA's just sold on ebay for 26 dollars. So for an extra 11 dollars more than your one, someone could get a playset of EA's... I really wanted to buy this but I can't help but think you are way over pricing this. When you clearly say you're giving a deal. Maybe if you really want to sell it you can think of a new price. If a card is listed at .49 cents I think those should be free, and then you can charge the full price for the bigger cards. Or just do like you did, adding everything up then multiple it by .9 or .8. IMHO your pricing is way off. When selling huge Lots like this I think that some fraction of the price of the individual cards should be the price, not $500 off.

You didn't read my post then. All the prices are listed in the spreadsheet, and all the prices themselves are discounted from market price. The $500 discount is an extra discount to an already discounted price.

Realy though......who's intrested in droping 2000$ for a card game when the economy is the way it is. it just seems crazy that this is even available. you should be selling off the money cards and then get rid of the rest in bulk. You'll probably make 25-40% of orgional cost, and that would be a good deal. Unless your selling gold or kola bears then your probably going to take a huge hit.

I've spent about 500$ over the last two weeks and it got me Black ice, Vor'na, and two boxes of DOW and I feel that's more than enough to get into the game and test the water to make sure that I want to still play.

I'll give you 500$ for everything, only if you throw in the deck boxes though!

I sold my collection for 3k back in November, and the economy was doing just as poorly. There are still plenty of people with 2k available to spend on hobbies.
