Lets take a look at some of the great cards that warlock has access to in the form of DoTs.

Clinging Curse (1 Cost, Instant, Untargetable) Yup, good!
Curse of Fatigue (1 Cost, Instant) Possibly good. If destroyed, it hasn't done anything effective. However, its only costing you 1 resource.
Doom Blossom (1 Cost, Instant) Very good. This can put you ahead early which is a good thing if you can keep up with it. The constraint of Traitor Only isn't a big crutch as you're also able to run Apocannon.
Immolate (2 Cost, Non-instant) Good. You get 1 damage right off-the-bat and 1 every turn. Pretty good for 2 cost.
Fel Fire (2 Cost, Non-instant) Its good, but for some reason I prefer Immolate. When I play a DoT, I don't want to play it and not sink any more resources into it.
Creeping Shadow (3 cost, non-instant) Quite good.
Unstable Affliction (3 Cost, non-instant) This is the reason to go Affliction. Its a solid ability that deals 2 a turn and a bonus if destroyed. (And sometimes you want to blow it off yourself!)
Siphon Life (5 Cost, Instant) 4 Point life swings are good, but paying 5 can be a real setback as it really doesn't do enough to catch-up if you're behind.

I would choose anywhere from 16-20 DoTs for a Warlock. After that, there are even more incredibly strong abilities that you have access to.

~Deathfist

Would you care to take, say, 3 seconds to read the title of the post?

Definitely instead of Totem of Coo anyway, the Totem just isn't really good enough imo.

But the wiser choice would be to go Affliction and use Unstable Affliction.

Also, I don't really see how this counts as a DOT deck atm since the only DOT card is Doom Blossom...

Re: more BANG BANG, less DOT

You will definitely need Creeping Shadows, perhaps you may like to go Affliction and use Unstable Affliction instead of Traitor and Doom Blossoms.
more BANG BANG, less DOT

okay i recenly made a warlock dot based deck. it was okay but i'm rebasing it.
