Not only amusing, but educational.
1st situation - might as well wait until your turn to do Falling. Doing it on their turn gives you 1 less resource to use on your turn, and you don't know what you're going to draw yet.
2nd situation - whether you do Falling on their turn or yours doesn't appear to make a difference whether you win or not.

Re: The Gladiators - Hello GG

1916526:

Enlighten me then, I guess.

I'm picturing several situations where it'd be okay to do this.

You have 5 resources, your only quest is a falling to corruption. all exhausted from last turn, and a glous in play. You have falling to corruption out, and you're on the play. You wait until they pass their turn and you do falling to corruption. The following turn you place a resource and come in for 17 and the win.

Seems pretty good to me.

And of course there are examples when you wouldn't want to do it either.

Destroying ready resources for falling just becaues it got inspired? No, that's stupid.
Doing it on turn 2 just because it got inspired on their turn? Inspiring maw of madness doesn't make full use of glous - that was my point.

Don't tell me it's 100% wrong to do falling to corruption on their turn, or you end up looking foolish.

There certainly are very rare cases where you want to do Falling to Corruption on your opponent's turn. OK, I didn't play 20 drop 1 allies, but at least I could survivre after a finishing shout, wastewalker combo or defiance. I didn't play sw:death and found this was the only way to win against pimprink (yeah, someone tryed it once just for fun and got everyone by surprise, all oggrimar deck were praying not to be pared with him). Like it is said in the article, it's power doesn't reside in it's versatility, but I tried to make it a bit more control without giving up the rush side. I play ring of blood + mindflip to give tokens or skumm baggot and get back a water elemental, weldon barov or doshura.

Re: The Gladiators - Hello GG

i enjoyed playing this deck in my qualifer at seattle. its not only fast and furious, but its also fun to play. out of our 14 people it was myself and one other playing koo'zar. both decks were very identical with a few differences.

i made a few changes from the featured deck list that in my opinion made a larger difference of giving the deck more versatility and not upsetting the speed.

i replaced dispel magic and put in disperse magic simply because i liked the idea of letting it sit and intimidating my opponent. not only that but once its out i dont have to pay 1 to actually use it.

i also traded kagella shadowmark for bhenn checks-the-sky. i saw kagella as a win more card and decided to use bhenn to gain tempo on opposing aggro decks. this change did make a difference and worked well VS other aggro decks.

i also liked the use of Fade in the Side Deck. when running so many allies i figured i would try it out and see how it goes. sadly i was never able to draw it in the qualifer when i did side it in, but in testing i did like how it worked.
