A "good morning" bump, in hopes that someone can help enlighten us about this situation.

    been buggin me all night

    Hi All,

Seal of Light, Paladin, 3, Ability — Holy, Seal (1)
Ongoing: When your hero deals combat damage with a weapon, it heals 2 damage from itself.
(1), Destroy Seal of Light >>> Your hero heals 4 damage from itself.

If you strike with a weapon during combat, and then your hero deals a "packet" of 1 or more damage during the conclusion of that combat, that whole packet is said to be "combat damage dealt with that weapon." As long as that packet is not completely prevented, Seal of Light will trigger.

This is the case even if:

    * That weapon's ATK was 0 as its strike effect resolved (like an unpumped Longsword); and/or

    * There are other buffs increasing the size of that packet (like Blessing of Might).

    To answer later questions:

    * If you prevent some but not all of a packet of combat damage dealt with a weapon, you can't specify that you want to prevent the "part from the weapon" or anything like that, because it's *all* from the weapon.

    * You must strike with a weapon if you want to deal combat damage with that weapon. It's not enough just to have that weapon in your hero row and deal combat damage via something like Blessing of Might.

    Thanks,
    PR
