Yeah, I finally found a guy that wanted to play WoW but he wasn't willing to help me get setup. =\

Whenever I try to get to this set up it crashes on vista I'm using full ver .94f of MWS and the wow patch here at v3.1 - the 3.2 alpha version seems to be gone. Anyways I tell it to close the current base and deck and try to set the default base to wow. It restarts and once again the magic dbase pops up and it says I have no gamepaks installed. Also if I try to change the theme it crashes. I can get it to load the wow dbase using the open menus but the cards appear scrunched within a magic border PM me with whatever help you can supply

First off, version 3.2a was killed, as version 4.0 was released.  There is a link in this section, under a post by my name, that will allow you to install Version 4.0.  You also do not need to assign any masterbases.  When you open the Magic Workstation program, goto "File, Open Libraries"  and choose the file "Warcraft.mwbase".  This will open up all the WoW cards available for using in decks.  I would then recommend switching to "Deck Edit Mode" to build a deck.  Thats's it.  I have no idea what the assign masterbase function is, but I know I NEVER use it.

okay i have an actual registered version... i cant seem to get it to link to the new master database at all... suggestions? i installed mws094f. went in put in my reg code. closed it. opened it, tried to link to wow.mwbase and warcraft.mwbase but when i open it back up i'm still just stuck in the master.mwbase... I'm running windows XP.

WoW RK 2, PM 2

I have been playing MTG with MWS for a long time and recently started playing the WOW tcg.  I have downloaded and installed the files, everything works fine.  Are there any updates through the most current set?  If so, does anyone have a link?

Download the wow theme on the first page.  Over write the "Defualt" theme in your "themes folder"

Reload MWS.

Hi. I want to use this program with someone I know but I am having trouble setting it up. I also read here in the forum that the latest patch was 4.0 but I can not find a link to that.

In addition I can not find where to download game packs so I can create decks. If someone could give me a brief explination of how to set this up and where to get the files I need I would greatly appreciate it.

Ok that seemed to work to get the game engine istalled with the wow theme so that is awsome thank you for your help.

I am still showing that I have no game packs installed and I don't know where to get them. Were the game packs supposed to be in the patch? Sorry I used to play LotR online tcg and the game engine was much different. I did a google search but I just found another forum with some one asking the same question.

Open MWS.

After it loads, if unregistered wait for the 5 second countdown and press ok, go to file. From there press Open Libraries and choose the one titled "Warcraft.mwbase."

Ok, i got everything installed but i have no images, can i get link to card images plz (oh what i could do for some text).

Did you install the WoW theme? Maybe that has the images.

I have more questions about mws I am hoping some who uses it can help me with. I am playing a solitary game to figure out how to use this engine and I am a little confused.

When you mouse over the buttons it tells you what phase you can enter but the instructions for these phases don't seem to match what the instruction booklet is saying.

Is mws displaying instructions for magic or for wow? They use the term tap instead of exhaust which i am guessing is the same thing.

When playing wow tcg with mws do you use the buttons to enter phases or do you just play the cards and end your turn?
