Re: Official FAQ (including Through the Dark Portal)
Welcome to the forum! If it helps, an ability or power only targets if it specifically makes use of the word "target". 1. Arcane Blast says your hero deals 3 arcane damage to target hero or ally, thus it targets... and you cannot target an Untargetable character. 2. Only one target is chosen for Chain Lightning, and that is the one that is to be dealt 3 damage. The 2 and 1 packets of damage can be directed towards an Untargetable ally, since they do not target. 3. Infernal's power that deals 1 damage to each opposing hero and ally, known as an AoE (area of effect), does not target. Thus, 1 damage will be dealt to Untargetable characters as well.

Re: Official FAQ (including Through the Dark Portal)
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Oddly enough, you answered two of my questions, but not in the order I put them. I chose Arcane Blast because I misremembered it as an AoE effect.
With the Infernal, I wasn't questioning it's power, so much as verifying that an ally can attack a Untargetable ally. This is true, right?

Yes, untargetable characters can still be attacked. Combat does not target.

Re: Official FAQ (including Through the Dark Portal)
Hi all.
I have the two "Korthas Greybeard, 1, Alliance, Ally—Dwarf Paladin, 1 ATK (Melee), 2 Health Protector <p> [Activate] >>> Prevent the next 1 damage that would be dealt to target hero or ally this turn." cards.
If one player is attacking my hero with an ally with 2 ATK, can I activate both cards to prevent all damage?
Regards,
Wander Rodrigues

Re: Official Rules FAQ (Heroes of Azeroth)
You are correct in that you have to exhaust your hero to delcare he is attacking. However, if your hero is defending, he does not have to exhaust to "strike back" with his weapon. All he has to do is pay the strike cost of the weapon and exhaust the weapon.

Re: Official Rules FAQ (Heroes of Azeroth)
Ongoing: Your hero has Ranged dual wield. (Can have a second Ranged weapon. Can strike with a second Ranged weapon during the same combat.)
My question is simply this: Where in the MMO did the idea for this come from? I've seen nothing on-line that allows for two Ranged weapons.

Re: Official Rules FAQ (Heroes of Azeroth)
Lots of cards have no dirrect basis in the MMO. If you want a better answer than that, you'll probably have to post in the Ask R&D section.

Re: Official Rules FAQ (Heroes of Azeroth)
I'm sorry if it has been answered somewhere already. I read trough the thread and didn't find it atleast.
But what I had on my mind was that if I had a ally like:
"Chippper" Ironbane Ally - Dwarf Warrior (X), Destroy "Chipper" Ironbane -> Destroy target ability or equipment with cost X.
If I could, after "Chipper" has dealt his damage in combat, and recived a fatal damage himself, be able to use that ability to destroy a ability or a equipment, and still have the damage go trough. Pretty much meaning, Chipper, attacker/defender and ability/equipment gets destroyed.
I know that was possible in Magic, but no idea if it works here.

There is no "damage on the stack" in WoW TCG as there is in MTG. If Chipper is in combat, combat will either go to conclusion and he will deal his combat damage (provided that the combat remains legal and whatever character he is in combat with remains in play) or if you use his effect before the conclusion of combat, he will not deal any combat damage.

Re: Official Rules FAQ (Heroes of Azeroth)
Silly question...
If Metalmorph is attached to a weapon that gives your Hero Dual Wield, do you lose Dual Wield?
And you would lose one weapon before anybody could respond getting rid of Metalmorph..correct?
