Maybe ask Games of Berkeley about having lazy peon constructed tournaments?  With store credit as prizes?  Just something temporary until they get more packs in.

    Sent you a PM

Just got home from the whos on first tournament today.  It went well and was only about an hour drive from me, which is always nice when i dont have to drive far.  They had singles and packs and starters at pretty good prices and prize support.  Anyways, give it a go if you guys can.  I'd love to see more people out there.  Oh yeah, and stop by Kriers on tuesdays(my LGS) i'd also love to see you guys there too!

Re: Bay Area Calendar - Regular WoW TCG Play

Paul - I think the lazy peon format tourney is a great idea, but there's no good time to have it.  This weekend is gencon, so that's out.  Next weekend is Thanksgiving.  The weekend after that, the Onyxia Raid deck is out and I want to have an Ony event.  So maybe we can get a lazy peon tourney going in December?

Sinmagion - I want a Saturday event too.  I'm going to ask games of Berkeley if we can do the first Onyxia event on a Saturday, but they have regular tournaments (Magic I think) on saturdays and might not be able to.  If that's the case, it would have to be a Thursday or a Sunday.  So Onyxia event would be either the 30th, the 2nd, or the 3rd.  I'll let you know.

Capt - Glad the event went well.  How many people were there?  What kind of decks did you see?  I'm going to come this Sunday, I think.

So there will be a Ony event at Games of Berkeley? Thats my favorite place to go, Whose on 1st is a bit out there and not really convienently located near BART. Where is Eudemonia located?

Somebody out there HAS to do a Saturday tournament. I personally would really like to see more sanctioned tournaments though. Wasn't that first tournament at Games of Berkeley sanctioned?

Stan:  Eudemonia is about 2 blocks away from Games of Berkeley.  It's on University between Shattuck and Oxford.

Bourn:  I checked www.whatshotcomics.com and they have nothing listed for WoW.  Should I still add them to Sunday on the calendar?

Re: Bay Area Calendar - Regular WoW TCG Play

Did anyone go to Eudemonia this Tuesday?  I couldn't make it.  Curious how many people there were, what you all did, etc.
