I figure sooner or later someone's REEEEEEALLY going to want one.

I also managed to score 2 x TBC:CE from the Gamestop Pre-Orders (lesson learned long ago -- pre-order immediately, waiting misses any chance).

Fun Fact ::
 -- I made a character for my girlfriend on my WoW Account (CE) which she was all happy about having her Panda on.
 -- I transferred her character to a Non-CE WoW Account ($25 transfer fee) and the Panda Stayed.

=)

I'll check local Best Buys @ Midnight... on WoW Launch Day I managed to pick up 3 WoW:CE's off of their display box.

Actually everyone is in for a rude shock where their CE orders are concerned.  I checked with several of the big retailers selling the CE and here are the results.  NOBODY got in as many as they were anticipating.  Some orders had to be cancelled at most places.  Where EB is concerned I was told that the CE will be given out on a first come first serve basis to those that pre-ordered it.  In addition to that, you will only be allowed to purchase one because of the shortage everyone has regardless of how many CEs you pre-ordered.

Best Buy, (who I have my CE pre-order through), Is holding the CE boxes for those that pre-ordered first.  They will get to choose between the CE and standard.  If there are any CE left over after the pres have been filled then they will go on the shelves.

I'm not even going to comment on some of the online places that sold pre-orders.  Cancellations are still going on all over the place and it looks like they will continue all the way to the 16th.

I was one of the firrst to preorder on amazon. I got an email saying that they were getting a lot less and because of the outstanding preorders i may get a shipdate that states later then the 16th but I was sure to get mine so I think im safe.

Does anyone know the best place to get this without a pre-order? I saw the "pre-order now!" on the BC:CE in October but I thought (Nah.. I'll do it later).. and now I'm hating myself for it. =\ So I'm going to try and line up for the midnight thing to try and get me a copy, but around here (In L.A.) there's so many choices. Do I wait at Circuit City, Best Buy, Fry's, Walmart, or is there another place that doesn't take pre-orders?

Got the shipping notification yesterday (it's 730am here) so it'll be here today!!!

I found a TBC:CE for sale at the Target in Spartanburg, S.C.!! Holy cow! Best Buy had sold out and Wal-Mart and Circuit City didn't even get any Collector's Editions. But I found one and flew down the interstate to get it over lunch today. My foil cards, art book, sound track, DVD-ROM and in-game exclusive pet are all anxiously awaiting me to get off work and go open up the box. WOOT!!

I've got two I'll be selling.  The local wal-marts did get some.  I didn't expect or want to get one, but saw them and figured I'd pick them up and sell them.  I already installed a standard Xpac anyway lol.

So how is the Expansion of WoW?......... Is it worth me going and buying it while the roads are icy or is should i just w8 cuz its not that great?.......Someone give me an update on what its like

I haven't bothered with outlande, only the new Blood Elf starting zone.  But from that alone, it rocks.  The Blood Elves are very cool, the guys are kinda meh.. but the chicks are very agile.  Create a BE Chick Rogue, hit lvl 2 and stealth.  Now that's how I've always imagined a rogue to act.  Kind of like Harley Quinn... very cool.

Ordered a copy of the CE from EBGames.com with the strategy guide for $99.99 + shipping (their not offering it by itself and a limit of 1) on tues.  They processed and shipped it yesterday and it arrive today.  Fastest shipping I've ever had to Canada.  Noticed on e-bay the price has dropped to about 90 - 125 for the actions I've watched end today.
