The World of Warcraft Launch Events in the UK have been confirmed for the following locations:

21st October: DUBLIN at the Royal Dublin Hotel, O'Connell Street. Organiser: Jim Brophy (Games People Play)

21st October: MANCHESTER at the Thistle Hotel, Portland Street. Organiser: Dave Salisbury (Fanboy 3)

21st October: BIRMINGHAM at The Custard Factory, Gibb Street. Organiser: Carl Crook (The Place For Games)

22nd October: EDINBURGH at the Victoria Park Hotel, 221 Ferry Road. Organiser: Chris Sparks (D&A Games)

22nd October: LONDON at Arsenal Football Ground, Drayton Park. Organiser Carl Crook (The Place For Games)

This is the first opportunity to see the cards. Product can be bought through entering one of the many events that will be planned at these locations as well as a chance to win some fantastic promotional items. All this will be revealed soon, but for the time being, put these dates into your diary!

Do we have start times for the various events/costs for the event as of yet, or do we need to contact the specific organiser in question? If the latter where can we get contact details for it? (I can probably find The Place for Games on the net anyway - I think I have it bookmarked :p)

I know for a fact that there are also UDE sanctioned tourneys here in the Phils. I was even aware of the VS launch a few years back. So my question is,

Is UDE planning a similar Launch Event for the Philippines?

Sign me up for the Birmingham Event. It's a bit of a trek (I live in Wolvo) but it's worth it for WoW TCG. If you find any contact details Vortrakk, can you share them? I did a search online for "The Place For Games", but it wasn't in Birmingham.

Aye, as far as I know The Place for Games are based in High Wycombe near London since they organise a lot of Magic tournaments in that area. Considering I've not seen any further information here I may email Place for Games directly to see if they can provide any more info pertaining to cost/start time etc.

Although that may have to wait until I feel a bit better :p I hate fresher's flu :p

Same here, we went back two weeks early or something. Now i'm juggling Databases, C programming and Systems Analysis, and did i mention that i hate computers? Damn my friend for dragging me to clearing and making me sign up for a degree. I was happy in college doing fun things like Archaeology.

I have heard *nothing* back from "The Place For Games". You'd think, seeing as it is an important event, they would have sent a reply back by now.

I'm going to try and get hold of the place in brum where it's being held, and see if they know more details. For all i know it could have been cancelled.
