I have a question
I want a rooster mount which is El Pollo Grande..or/and a spectral tiger so BAD
I was wondering what my chances were if I were to spend 100 dollars on packs..what were my chances to win one?
Is it a really rare chance or what?
What packs do I get
and NO i will NOT ebay!
What do I do!

If you buy a lot of cards, there is a chance you could make a lot of the money back on loot cards, but there's really no telling which loot cards you'll get. I spent $500 on cards and got $400 in loot, but I got lucky!

The rooster and tiger are extremely rare. If you ONLY want those SPECIFIC loot cards, $100 will not give you a reasonable chance to get them. If you don't want to ever play the card game, do not take this chance just for those cards.

I spent 10 dollars on cards 2 weeks ago and got a spectral tiger loot. It's all just up to luck.

I think a bit of explanation is deserved here.
Because he might spend 20 or 30 bucks and decide to keep buying because someone said "they spent ten dollars and got one..." Which is so ridiculously unlikely.
It's believed that in a full case of booster boxes (a case has 12 boxes, and a booster box has 24 packs) there should only be one or two spectral tigers. But likely only one. So assuming you buy one pack you have around a 1/288 chance.
But if you want to take a chance spending a hundred bucks on boosters I would definitely buy boxes. Which I think a box of Fires of Outland (the set that Spec Tiger comes from) sells for around that. As for the chicken, (I think this is a little more common maybe 4 per case) you can get from Fields of Honor, and I think you can get two booster boxes for around that.
I know you said you won't ebay one, but I would always say you should just ebay it unless you plan on buying a full case and then sell everything else you open.

Spectral Tiger - ~1 in 484 boosters?  when ever my store got some outlands in they were $8 a pack
so you looking at getting at most 11 packs unless you mean $100 plus tax / shipping

El Pollo Grande - ~1 in 363 boosters? packs are still roughly 4 bucks ea so you can get around 25 packs

also i know at that a box of outlands on ebay is around $120
but you can get a box of fields for like $70 on ebay
obviously you have a better chance with a box of fields to get a mount, more than likely though you won't get one if you desperately want a tiger save up stop and buy a case of outlands but remember you are NEVER guaranteed anything but i mean come on man thats 288 packs plus outlands rares sell for a lot so if you wanted you could make a chunk of your money back if you took the time to sell all of those rares and epics.

Too late for that, but WoW miniatures Realms was this weekend and if attendance was anything like ours, well we had 11 players total, Tigers going to 1-4th and Chicken going to 5th-8th...

We had 13 total at the Realms I went to.  There were a few that reported attendance of 4 players and 6 players.  Those are GREAT odds. :-)

It really is all up on luck, but by buying a box you have a little less than a 33% chance of getting it. However, it seems to work that if you go for a booster pack near the middle or at the bottom it seems to raise it a little higher, closer to a 33% chance, but still not a full 33%.

but the tiger is rare, as is the chicken. I got lucky with my tiger after buying a few boxes. a friend got lucky with buying like 3 or 4 packs.

Hey man if you are still interested there is another Realm Championship coming up.  You can buy a minis 5man team really cheap and the top 8 are getting nice loots. 1st gets Tiger and El Polo, 2nd gets Tiger, 3rd and 4th get El Polo, 5th-8th get Kitten.  So if we have the same number turn out from the last Realms then you have a decent shot at getting one of those.
