Please can I have some feedback on this deck?

Abilities
4 x Behead
4 x Keys to the Armory
4 x Heroic Strike
4 x Intercept
4 x Pummel
4 x Rend
4 x Taunting Blows

Allies
4 x Halnar Stands-Alone
4 x Rak Skyfury

Equipment
2 x Gauntlets of Vindication
4 x Heartseeker
4 x Whispering Blade of Slaying

Quests
4 x Akama's Promise
4 x Bane of the Illidari
4 x Dr. Boom!
2 x Sunken Treasure

Sideboard
4 x Smash
4 x Spell Ricochet
2 x Lionheart Helm

Recent changes were:
 -4 Treasure Chest +4 Pummel
 -4 Absolute Poise +4 Taunting Blows

The mechanics of the deck is to Rend on Turn 1 so Heartseeker gets the +2 ATK every turn, Heartseeker on Turn 2, Strike for 3 with Heartseeker on Turn 3, Guantlets on Turn 4 (Rend now deals 2 every time) and strike for 4 with Heartseeker, Whispering on Turn 5, Heroic Strike and strike for 13. Kill on Turn 6. Doesn't always work that easy, but that's the general idea.

More strikeout than rush, but anyway.
If the Gauntlets are an important part of the curve why not run 4?

That would be great, but right now I only have 2, so I'm hoping that if I don't draw it at least I can fetch it with Keys to the Armory. Obviously there will be days when I get neither ... then I curse loudly and hope for the best.

Any advice on popping abilities and is it really necessary?

I highly recommend Vindicator's Brand as well. It's beyond versatile, it's an ability/equipment blow up, OR a Krol Blade if you don't draw into another weapon. I personally would try to find room for it in almost any warrior/pally deck.

NOt a very big fan of Krol Blade (more a Pally Weapon than a Warrior's Weapon in my mind). Vindicator's Brand is awesome and on my wishlist (almost $10 each!)

1 x Pummel

Took out 4 x Halnar Stands Alone (not sure if this is a good move) and 2 x Lionheart Helm (figure if I have enough destroy equipment I won't need, but that might come back to bite me when I go up against a Pally)
