1664869:Who says this card needs to be in a combo deck?
The article leans towards setting up your combo and then comboing your opponent out, my response was mainly directing toward that.
If you're not going to play it in a combo deck then it's usefullness starts to drop off pretty sharply. Like the shaman ability that can brings back shifting sands, that didn't get very far either and it's what? Turn 5? Granted it revolves around a totem and is more disruptable, it's still a combo deck.
If not a combo deck I could see you siding this in for a solo matchup, or maybe a BoK deck where all your allies are going to be vastly bigger than your opponent's. But the longer you wait to play it the more susceptible you are to Cannibilize, Abyss Walker's Boots, Undercity, and after game 1 your "surprise" value is gone with it. Maybe playing it game 1 and then siding it out, it just seems too situational to make the cut over a card that will be good all the time.
