    so wait, technically there's 6 card types right? heroes, allies, abilities, equipment, quests and locations

    man, he looks damn sexy  :D

    since I've been out of the game for quite some time (3 months) anyone care to comment on how he fares w/ stuff like Weldon, Magni, Ishanah, Greench and other fatty finishers?

    edit: I'm calling it that tomorrow will be a preview of Garrosh!

    actually equipment is not a card type. weapon, armor, and item are all card types.

    So correct me if I am wrong, but that makes it a potential -8/-8:
    1. Hero
    2. Ally
    3. Weapon
    4. Armor
    5. Item
    6. Ability
    7. Quest
    8. Location

    So when he comes into play, your opponent(s) already lose 2/2.....

    It's a good thing I've been testing out a new Anduin Acceleration deck on MWS. Thanks for the perfect finisher!

    indeed hes a very very nice alliance finisher.  i just really hope he does not become as expensive as Weldon Barov.

    More comparable to Ishanah imo, and his price will be similar, depending on what massive faction dudes are in Scourgewar. There's a high possibility there's something better than this guy. Not that he's bad.

    Now that's what I call a showstopper! I think he would be at least a -4/-4 when he comes into play. That means you would need to trade about 9 allies into him ...

    first of all ... nice powerhouse
    it really made my day 

    from a lore standpoint : he may well be the most dislikeable character alliance has except the druid goat helm or staghelm or something ...
    of course the horde counterpart will be no less then Garosh

    all hail to the "hated" club  !
    hope they are all nasty enough to include in a deck

    I don't think there's any need to complain about Mr Wrynn... seriously there's cheaper ways to clear an opponent's board of allies.
    Allies like this haven't been a win condition since Greench, who hasn't seen much play in ages.
    I'm hoping the Horde counterpart destroys multiple abilities/equipment in a similar way to Wrynn killing dudes. That would be more than "on par".

    You say that, but with accelerated ways to dump this guy in early, he could be a little scary. I would definitely put him in the priest deck i'm planning using the new resurrection ring. You can get him into play on turn 4 potentially (same with any other fatty tbh)

    If the horde equivalent is any good you'll probably be able to do the same as that faction, or either could be Ripped...

    hopefulyl we'll see some new combo parts in this set =]

    if you get him in play on turn 4 chances are your opponent won't have used his "destroy target ally" card on Weldon yet.
