We also need to get firm commitments about GenCon. I want a final count of who will be staying in our group. I plan on getting rooms at the hotel we've been at the last two years but I need to make sure that we have enough space - but not too much - for everyone. I'm currently expecting the following people in our block:

Myself, Josh P., Josh C., Aaron C., George, Speez, Russ, Charles, John M., John M.'s brother, John M. Sr.

Not sure on the following people:
Pat, Stephen, Walsh, Dom, Shelk, Scotty, Nick, Drew, Bill, Klimas

That amount of people makes quite a difference whether we need 3, 4, or 5 rooms.

Joe Gayda and another friend from Dayton, Ohio are looking for a room in Boston.  If you want to cut costs further these guys are super cool.  Both are late 20's/early 30's and not some punk kids.

Come play at C & Js in Newark, CA

There was an error with my previous "save the dates" announcement - they should have all been Saturdays: Sept 12, Oct 17, and Nov 7.

Today is the last day for getting your name into our rooms. I need to make the call tomorrow morning to make sure we can get them.

Once again, the current list of "going" is:
Myself, Speez, George, Josh P., Josh C., Aaron C., John M., John M.'s brother, John M. Sr., Scott, Nick, Dan, Charles, Jim "the new guy".

Still awaiting confirmation from:
Pat, Stephen, Walsh, Dom, Shelk, Drew, Klimas.

At this point we're at 4 rooms, with the possibility of the 5th being necessary.

We also need to start talking about who's going out when, and who's driving. I'm planning on going during the day on Wednesday, because I want to play in the LCQs. Nick has said he would drive, and John  M. Sr. is planning on driving also. I'm assuming either Speez or Josh P. will be driving as well. Nick wouldn't leave until Wed night at the earliest - not sure about John M.

To answer you John, we (my brother, father, and I) are planning to leave that Wednesday. We have enough room in our car to very comfortably fit 2 more, and we can fit 3 easily with about the same comfort. Hope that helps make things a little easier! : .)

Yes, either me, Speez, or George will be driving. Most likely in George's new car! We will be leaving Wednesday (hopefully relatively early so we can get there and get situated). So that is three of us, leaving room for one more person. George's new car isn't too large, so there is no wiggle room for a fifth (nor would I allow a fifth, you all know my 'comfort' rule for driving).

Anyway, that is what us three are doing. I will try to get ahold of Klimas, cause I'm pretty sure he is coming to GenCon as well.

Edit: BTW, is Russ coming still? Did you forget to include him in your updated list?
