775521:Went to the event today in Dublin. They did an amazing job. I don't think I've ever been to a tournament with as little tension and so many good sports about seating, and moving things along. Huge thank you to this thread for helping me find that event, it was a 40 minute drive each way, but well worth it. Thanks Elessar.
I'm really glad this thread helped out. I was there also. In the 2nd round (i think) I was sitting at the same table as you. You were playing against the new guy with the Elendril deck that ran the epic allies and bow/devilsaur. I played against a shaman beatdown deck that round and took my only loss. It's a really fun tournament and I try to make it most weeks. I actually went on to take 1st place that day (split with other top player). It was a first for me and my Hierophant Stormspeaker deck.
I won't make it to the dublin tournament this coming weekend (weekend roadtrip), but I'll be there the following sunday. If you can, you should come up to Berkeley for the tourney at Eudemonia on Saturday. It'll be good. Lots of the dublin people go and a bunch of guys come from the city and south bay too I think.
