We don't currently Draft, but if a lot of people wanted to, we could set that up. We play Constructed and it's getting pretty popular. We'll also probably try Block Constructed sometime.

I have lots of player's sets of C/UC, but not too many rares. So, I'm not sure if any of the decks that I could put together would be competitive. However, if these are non-sanctioned games, then I can certainly print up some proxies.

I'll try to make it out one weekend as time permits.

Sorry, we have Battlegrounds tourneys. $5 entry, but you are guaranteed a couples of EAs and a pack no matter how well you do. So, no proxies please. I think you can make a pretty competitive deck without the rares etc. so don't be afraid to try it.

Also, there are several other new players here so don't think we're all super competitive or anything.

Anyway, just a heads up. We've decided to give Draft a try next week. Jeff says it'll be about $13 each. 3 packs (MOTL, SOB, HFI) drafting and lots of fun.

Weds Oct 1st 6:30pm - Block Constructed Playtesting (for the Oct 4th RQ)
Saturday Oct 4th 1pm - Constructed (although I won't be able to make it and some people may be playing in the RQ in Berkeley).
Weds Oct 8th 6:30pm - Constructed Playtesting (for Worlds)
Saturday Oct 11th - No Tournament (Blizzcon, and I'm off to Worlds)

Saturday the 27th is probably out. Thats the pre-release day for the new Magic set and Jeff thinks that space will be tight. On a side note I have a new block deck ready for wednesday, and its a class I haven't played before :)

Hmm, shame about the 27th. Maybe we could ask to play on the 28th. It will be the first chance to use those new shiney DMF kit cards!!!

Good chance that I'll be able to make draft this Saturday at 1 PM if anyone is trying to do an initial head count. I'll bring a constructed deck just in case we don't have enough folks to draft.   I've drafted MTG quite a bit, but will try to find some articles here on the site for WOW.  Look two limited articles in August :-). Off to do some reading.

Lol I read this thread right after putting together a deck for tomorrow :-p Oh well I love draft so looking forward to it :-) I'll bring my deck to try out if anyone wants to play side games before or after the tourny

Well, that was certainly fun.

10 players. We had to draft 1 MOTL, 2 HFI because not enough SOB was on hand. It was all good though. I drafted Warlock Horde and managed to go 3-1 only losing the final match to Mike (Shaman). So, I survived my first draft.

Here's what's on store.

Because we can't have any tourneys next weekend because of Magic events going on, were going to have a tourney on Wednesday night instead.

Wednesday 24th at 6:30pm, Block Constructed with DMF Kit legal 2 days early!!!
