Yeah, my hunter deck is not LP certified. (four multishots, four Furys...)

I did just whip together a LP deck though,  just in case we play that.  I gotta get the words to my friends that it may be lazy peon, cause they will have to take the epics/rares out of their decks.

BTW, I had to sit there and think for a good three minutes what LP means.  I am such a noob.

    1.  Remember there are like 3 different Phantoms, all with different owners, so if the one in the mall is being a buncha jags, that doesnt mean that the one in Oakland, the best one, has anything to do with it.

    2.  Thank you CCGs for doing so much for this game in town.  If I can balance work, a wife, and other responsibilities I'll be down as much as I can.

    3.  I sooo cannot wait to play with my Rogue Control,,,, though I think I need a better name for it.  Just gotta find the time to get down there.

    Peace

    Hey guys,

For those that weren't able to make it last night, I have a couple announcements:

    1. This Friday's event will be whatever deck you want to bring. Next week, both Wednesday and Friday will be Lazy Peon format so that people can work on decks for the challenge on the 18th. Next week's events will also have a $5 entry fee, with prizes going out.

    2. On November 25th, we will be holding a Onyxia's Lair Raid Release party. Cost and how the thing will work will be announced shortly.

A friendly reminder that this week's Wednesday and Friday play is going to be Lazy Peon Format, with a $5 entry fee, as a warm-up for the big tourney Saturday. There will be prizes based on attendance.

I'm from the north hills, ohio township specifically...i do work downtown but the only places i know how to get to are from the usx building to the bus stop.  I am very new to the game and i'm still trying to get all the rules down.  Is there directions to any of these places that i can have?

Re: Gaming in Pittsburgh? Lets get it going with this one!

If you're coming from the USX building, all you have to do is follow Grant Street away from the river until it turns into Liberty Ave, Then continue on Liberty Ave until you pass 40th Street. We are the 4th building on the right.

If you're coming from the McKnight Road area, hop on 279, take the East Street exit, get on 28 North, take the LEFT exit for 40th Street, follow 40th until it ends at Liberty Ave, turn left on Liberty, and we're the 4th building on the right.

Re: Gaming in Pittsburgh? Lets get it going with this one!

If you go 279 then to 28 to get there, fair warning, traffic is HORRIBLE.

Last week I left my house, which is by North Park, at 4:45, took me like 15 mins to get to 28, then I sat on 28 for almost a half hour.  I didn't get to the card shop until 5:45ish.

I have no idea if it would be better to go 279 and get off at in the city and follow Liberty Ave, but I seriously doubt that would be any quicker.

Anyways, I will be there Wensday and for the big tourney saturday.

Re: Gaming in Pittsburgh? Lets get it going with this one!

My only other suggestion would be to take the backroads up to Etna and then take 28 South to 40th Street. I don't really know that section of town, though, so I don't have any particular route in mind.

I made it to the 2005 Yugioh Nationals cause I was in the top 100 in USA (number 3 in PA and like 87th in USA at the time).  I am a ratings whore and I want to be the very best!  I am hoping to get into nationals in WOW, so be nice if I can start working on my rating if I happen not to win it from a regionals/Dark Moon Faire
