If you know about the difference between rooms for US players vs EU player for worlds last year you would know that heckling is pretty effective.

I mean, sharing a room, who'd have thought it?

thanks for the response, but i hope players who qualified for both at least get their participation prizes for both games. because invitaion to worlds is some sort of a prize to the events they qualified in, but unfortunately they cant play both.

So let's take a few real world examples of this.

I have 2 jobs but I get scheduled to work both at the same time.  I have to choose one over the other as I can't possibly work both at the same time.

I play Baseball and Basketball for my college.  They both have a game scheduled at the same time on the same day.  I have to choose one over the other as I can't possibly play them both at the same time.

I understand the dilema but I also understand UDE's position.  These are separate events that occur at the same time and unfortunately players who play both games have to choose one or the other to compete in.

    3) I got permission for a pretty nice participation prize with this structure. BD

    Participation

T-Shirt and Thunderhead Hippogryph Loot Card

That is a pretty cool Participation prize.

You're incorrect, JerryDamage. I do not have to play in Day 1 of Minis Worlds, which occurs at the same time as Day 1 of  TCG Worlds. These do not conflict in any way, shape, or form.

They already said that Day 2 might start at the end of Friday depending on attendance, which is why they need to know the number of people who are in on Friday morning. I don't think they could have been clearer than that.

still you can choose to drop the card game later that day if your record is not good enough. In essence time do allow you to play both but wont finish both.

You may not be playing in Day 1 of Minis, but you do have to be there for the mandatory player meeting.  That does conflict with Day 1 of TCG.

    Re: World's player meeting

I don't think a World tournament should have people starting and dropping and affecting the out come by doing such.

I am also qualified for both and I think it is a very fair and fine decission by UDE to not allow people to treat World class tournaments as a side show for the bored.

Would it be cool to be able to get my playmat for qualifying for cards? Hell yeah it would. Hint Hint...... :)
