Sorry for posting this late, but here we had lots to do on promoting the game by any means necesary. We held the Release Celebration in a big book-store named Carturesti located in the centre of Bucharest. Considering that Romania has no tabletop gaming culture whatsoever it was a smashing success. Everyone was anxious to open their packs, so before the speeches were over nobody could play in a sealed pack event, but many were able to join a constructed casual melee. A few Trading Card Game veterans(there are a few in Romania who played Magic a while ago) asked the TO(whom i assisted) to hold a Constructed Deck Sanctioned event, which he did. There were only 8 participants in this tournament but still they had lots of fun.
The book-store has two stories, we held the tournament and the casual melee upstairs and demos were held downstairs all-day from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Everyone participating in a demo or melee received their Parvink and the winners of the tournament and many of the casual melee winners received Gem packs, Gem bags, U-deck Sleeves and other stuff provided by UDE.
We had gaming-press present at the event, being something special for our country, since it represents yet another step towards Europe. This gaming site posted some pictures from the event in case you are interested: http://www.computergames.ro/ro/jocuri/viewitem/id/891/name/world-of-warcraft-trading-card-game/section/screenshots.html -the link takes you to the pictures.
It was fun overall, the game is great and we had only positive feed-back. We have great plans on promoting and organizing play in Romania so i'll keep you posted. I took the level 1 judge test and passed and also the TO test(still waiting results) and i'm planning to host weekly tournaments.
