Re: MWS - A complete guide to playing WoW Online.

Anyone happen to have the link for the Christmas cards?

It's not that I'm lazy to look...I'm just using it as an excuse to add to this post...as I love using MWS.

Seriously...more people should take the time to get this set up and play...

Re: MWS - A complete guide to playing WoW Online.

im on the part below and when i click patch it it takes me to an open menu and when i click cancel it says "warning! some procedures were not complete" what exactly do i select in the search menu.

Close Magic Workstation if it is open then run the file "Magic.Workstation.v094f.exe"
     -Click "Patch It"
     -Close the patching program

Re: MWS - A complete guide to playing WoW Online.

Im also having difficulties with this part. Everytime I open Magic.Workstation.v094f.exe, it just says "Windows cannot acces the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item." Which is odd considered, its my laptop. -_-;; Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: MWS - A complete guide to playing WoW Online.

Crap I got to update it again!

What you have to do after pressing patch it is find magicworkstation.exe on your computer. And it will patch it but you have to point it to it.

    Default should be
    c:/program files/magic workstation/MagicWorkstation.exe

    What about my post?

Still stuck as everytime I open Magic.Workstation.v094f.exe, it just says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item."

You have a OS problem. I have herd of this before and I think I had this for a single file as well.

Has some types for resolving this issue. It may have something to do a certain virus at the same time it may have something to do security programs.

First step, make sure you are the administrator.

I read the article and in the end it was AVG Free Edition that was preventing the program (from running in normal mode but opened in safe mode) and thus was eventually deleted. Though I don't think I wan't to do that in my case.

Anyways just to make sure, how do you tell if your administator? (I mean im the only one who uses my laptop (different account name though), and i've been downloading and running programs for along time without any problems at all. Any suggestions?)
