    Re: Molten Core

It was a rhetorical question, because in the TCG it's epic.  As such if they add Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros, it will be the same rarity as the other cards in the treasure pack like I said a few posts up (probably Rare)

I have a MC raid deck on my desk right now, actually.  I got to play it against some other members of the brand team on Friday, and it was a blast.  There were four of them, and they got all the way to Ragnaros, and then he wiped the remaining two players out on the turn he came out from being submerged.  Maybe I've said too much...

You enjoy torturing us don't you. I hope Nightslayer's Glove (with immunity to disarm) is in the set. Rogue needs some lovin'.

It's Bloodfang Gloves that have immunity to disarm, from BWL.
Nightslayer has the more pve orientated +1 to hit :)

The Molten Core product page went live this afternoon, apparently.  Right now, it just has some artwork from the cards, but it'll be filled in with cards and such later.  Check it out here:

    http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/wow/en/products/moltencore/default.aspx

The art looks great.  I especially like the way the Corehounds look.  But damn if you guys don't use a lot of yellow, orange, and red.  Not that I was expecting different, it just struck me as a very consistent coloring.  I bet your printers are out of the ink colors for fire.

    Re: Molten Core

Yeah MC was full of dark and fiery goodness.  And yes I totally agree with the Mag & Majordomo tokens.

and Banish would be insane, but that makes sense because that ability was used to take care of annihilators and other rock elementals. I wonder if the raid deck will have the trash mobs like in MC in-game. More than likely not because I figure battling all the bosses will take up enough time as is.

    Re: Molten Core

Yep, and if they had done a Blackwing Lair Raid deck, there would likely be another raid deck that has mostly yellows, oranges and reds.   I suppose that's one of the reasons they decided to jump to Magtheridon's lair (that and to get something newer).

    Re: Molten Core

I am kinda interested in the "Molten Core battlegrounds June 2-3 - Comming soon" and what that means?  Is UDE finally setting up sanctioned support for raid events/decks, even if it is only on a Battleground(hobbyleague) level?

That's the best way to get it going Felix.  Once a month at a hobby centre, then make them regular fixtures for side events.  The full length MC is going to be a brutal test of teamwork never seen before in TCG.

    Re: Molten Core

    Hyperbole FTW!
AEG's Warlord and L5R games have 'Strategic' versions that involve teams of of four+ engaging in multiple combat scenarios of several hours. That requires some pretty nifty teamwork to execute well.

Anyway, just goes to show you there's nothing new under the sun.

Not sure there's a great difference between BWL and Mag lair in colour scheme's either. Naxx is fairly similar too for most of the wings. By in large, raid instances are dark places relieved with patches of contrasting colours - red being quite popular. Only AQ/ZG really brake from that, and I guess Eye.

Here is your official confirmation.  Molten Core releases on 5/30.  We have a bunch of web content coming up very soon (product page, spoilers, crazy info page, etc.).  You'll start to see it this week, definitely.
